I long for the day when I can open a thread (any thread) and not have to read about Tommy Saint-Amand.

I'll toss in a vote for Téo Saint-Arnaud. I think he's an especially famous Canadian player, with a cool nickname and a great career so far. There are many other deserving candidates, but TSA is the one for me.

It's true though. You bring him up any topic you can but what are you going to do when he hits his cap? You can't brag about a 25k SG who has hit his cap, can you?

i dont think he will hit it at 25k capping is based on skill total not salary :D
but if he does cap ill be like o.O and id train my other trainee's i'd keep him around as my team's figure head( just like canada and the queen) i wanna get his Expierence to legendary then ill sell and hopefuly someone will be like OMG legendary expierence but by then he will be 38-40 :D

As much as I would like to see Laviolette join the Hall of Fame, I don't think he'll ever get the vote. He was a controversial player even in his prime. Too much Jump Shot, not enough of everything else!

As such, my vote will be for Gary Milot. I think Milot really exemplified quality training for a PG and was a model I followed on Galdos and it paid off very well.

Cheers

My point was that he does not need to be mentioned in every single thread (particularly threads that have nothing to do with anything even remotely related to him). So let's stop derailing this thread and let conversation return just to hall of fame voting.

My vote goes for Milot also. Surely this is the right time to vote him in as a starter in the NT for so long. TSA and Abott are still heavily involved in the NT and to me there is something not quite right in voting them into the Hall of Fame when they are still prominent NT players.
