That is not quite true. To reduce load on the buzzerbeater servers the updates only happen once every 3 days for each league. So if someone from your league logs on once the 3 days has expired then it will run an update.

It appears that someone checked BB-stats when the results of some games in my league were done and while others weren't. As it stands, the stats for some teams include all games played, while stats for other teams include all but the most recent game.

Would it be possible to include an option to update the stats from BB, rather than having to wait 3+ days?

I am working on hassling my web host to add in features to the server so I can read stats a lot faster than the update currently takes. This will mean I can increase the update frequency.

these are points scored by a player. to get those stats I would have to analyse all of the matches played within a season and i'm not doing that yet

BB-Stats Update for 14-Jan-2009

Just created the new sections for the site (Team, League, Country, World, Custom).
Hoping to get some new stats content up soon.
Got a randomised player pic now in the header I hope the BB's don't mind.

I love the additions! The team totals feature is great. The points scored and points allowed for my league don't match the numbers on the standings page, and one of my players doesn't feel the need to be represented (the top rated player in the league, no less) but I imagine those things will get worked out.

Is there a way to keep a running average of the team ratings? That would be petty cool.

Which player on your team are you talking about?

The numbers on the team totals don't match because players have left or joined your team and these numbers are based on player stats within your team (i.e. not on match statistics). I forced an update on your league to make sure your stats are correct.

EDIT:
Eventually all team evaluation stuff will hopefully be based on match statistics not on player stats.
I hope I can get a formula to calculate the performance of a player for each game and then get an average for each player in your team and compare them to other league players.
