To be clear - I didn't respond to your email. I didn't CT you either and congradulated you after your win. My schdule last season was brutal and caused me more issues than anything else.

I stated a fact - and if your feelings are hurt because everyone is calling you a cheater that is not my problem. I purposely didn't accuse anyone of cheating - I went the road that you were asked a direct question and you ran to the rules instead.

Further - my complaints have been focused on money. If the whole post has been read, It was noted money was available to the teams in B3 and prize money was awarded. In season 3 when we faced in the semi's the question was asked what does anyone get for finishing in the top 4 of the cup. The response was a handshake and the arena revenue. Had I known our game means more than that, do I play it differently? YES. There is more at stake. Do I play our quarterfinal differently? Yes. The results may not of changed, but the effort would of.

Nope - MM was a better team. They beat me fair and square and the proof is their performance in the NBBA. They didn't need to prearrange a match with me to kick my rear.

To be fair, Myopic isn't really in the NBBA. They are in the "Great 8".

Your ego aside Myopic is in the NBBA. They have access to the same potential arena attendance and regular season cash flow. Expansion of their arena and continued success on their side of the bracket should let them buy ever better players and the gap between the "real NBBA" and the ones you look down on should shrink.

The great 8 should if they havent already be in discussion to set up a similar arrangement next season with the goal being knock off the elite 8 in interleague play, take homecourt and give themselves the best chance to win a title.

Back to the original reason this post was put up, Id rather see them fight for extra cash than have it granted to them. The BBB caused at least one of them a loss which may or may not have bearing on homecourt for their playoffs this season.

Id rather see the BBB played in arcade mode similar to private leagues with enthusiasm taken out of it. I think someone had mentioned putting this in the suggestion box so Ill head over there and see what can be done.

With the nastiness and broad range of issues brought up in this topic Im suprised a BB hasnt made a comment about any of the issues raised.

Whooooooa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...

Ok, just finished reading up on the new posts here. Let me start by assuring everyone that the BBs are taking an active interest in this problem, and we're exploring possible solutions. Just like when people were complaining about the CTs during the playoffs, we implemented a solution to make the problem go away. We're listening, and we're thinking, so let's all chill out a bit.

There are some very good points made in this thread. To clarify, at the moment, mutual TIEs are NOT ILLEGAL. I'm *not* taking the stance that they're good for the game -- that's what's being discussed here -- but nobody is allowed to call someone else a cheater for having arranged a mutual TIE.

The developers feel strongly that Enthusiasm adds another crucial dimension to the game, but we also understand the concerns. Please know that we will certainly take the community's comments on this issue very seriously.

Having read through the whole 150+ posts, I think most points have been made a few times, so there's no sense revisiting old arguments. Let's keep the discussion going -- I think this is a very productive thread -- but please do try to cool things down a bit.

Cheers

what about this idea..?
if a team plays TIE and loses, there should be a significant attendance drop (more than normal) in the following games as the fans become really upset about their team..
i'm a Galatasaray fan and if my team loses a game without putting any effort into it i become really angry, but if they try their best and lose then it's not a big problem because i think the opponent was really powerful and they deserved the win..
IMO this system can discourage teams from playing mutual TIE..

There is no problem with TIEs. Everyone TIEs at their one risk, as they're giving the other team a free ticket to win the game if they Normal, agreement or not.

YEAH
Thank goodness Kozlodev is back!! and no surprise he sides with the TIE community!

I like LA-Moutlinho's idea... although i copy GM-Damenas strategy it is only because I have to until i lose in the BB3... i cant imagine getting penalised harder on the fan front... its incredible how short memory supporters have at the moment anyway!
