Im sorry boys, I dont know what I was thinking trying to balance VCE with intensive basketball training as well as my obsession with buzzerbeater! With things getting prety hectic in both of the things I just mentioned, im not sure, infact unfortunatley im certain that I just cant find the time to write these reports as much as I enjoy writing them! :(

I am training hard to play college basketball after year 12, both in school and out of school.
@Lewie: I play for the Eltham Wildcats, and I do a basketball development program at my school Box hill Senior Secondary College, which allows me to train everyday.

Its not easy, and im sorry I said I would do something and then didnt boys.
I hope you guys understand!

Sorry Boys!

Mate, I find it hard enough to get on here a few times a week to make sure everything is set for each game. No worries at all!

This is agonising!! The morale is down at the Vsouth Center as the tough close losses keep coming!
And as we get set to take on a powerful marmot team on the road..... we are set to slump to a record below .500 which is painful for everyone at the club. On the other hand, we are still with in a chance of snatching home advantage in the playoffs as the kings are in the midst of a tough losing streak aswell.

At the start of the season we set ourselves a goal of gaining home advantage in the playoffs with a record above .500, its going to be a tight finish to see whether can accomplish them or not!

Marmots are prepared and won't be taking this one easy, either...

Also noticed we're ahead of everyone on PD now... can we just:

a) end the season now; and
b) agree that the winner is determined solely by PD?

Finally good to be back on the winners list after a 4 game skid! :)
Shows we are still within a chance of stealing 2nd spot after a good game tonight.
Well done All-Stars! Not letting go of the rope.

Nice work, Lazz40*

Okay, it's getting close to the pointy end of the season and I thought I'd try and generate some discussion with my predictions on how the ladder will look after Round 22, who will play who in the finals and who will win their series and, of course, who will take out the Championship.

If (and a big 'IF' it is) the teams remain as they are here is how I see the ladder looking at the end of the regular season:

I will remind you fellas again that this is meant get some communciations going. I'm no prophet but basing my predictions on previous results, homecourt advantages, rosters etc etc so not going to be too far off from truth I believe. And of course, I am deliberately going to inflate my chances...kind of...just to get some discussion going...

Matty's predictions:

Big 8

1. The Mighty Oaks (21-1)
2. Rampaging Marmots (19-3)
3. Flames (15-7)
4. Serial Thrillers (12-10)
5. HawthornFC (12-10)
6. Jack Hammers (10-12)
7. Vally Eagles (8-14)
8. St.George Illawarra (0-22)

Great 8

1. Lewie the Lip (20-2)
2. Perth City Kings (13-9)
3. Southern All-Stars (12-10)
4. Frenja Fireworks (12-10)
5. Burnside Tigers (9-13)
6. Saleeba Globetrotters (4-18)
7. Dannys Boys (5-17)
8. H00p3rr (3-19)

So, I see both St.George Illawarra and new arrival H00p3rr being relegated.

Relegation Battles (winners in bold):

GAME 1:

Jack Hammers (HCA) v Saleeba Globetrotters
Valley Eagles (HCA) v Dannys Boys

GAME 2:

Jack Hammers (HCA) v Saleeba Globetrotters
Valley Eagles (HCA) v Dannys Boys

Jack Hammers and Valley Eagles win series.
Saleeba Globetrotters and Dannys Boys relegated.

Finals:

Big 8

The Mighty Oaks (HCA) v Serial Thrillers
Rampaging Marmots (HCA) v Flames

Great 8

Lewie the Lip (HCA) v Frenja Fireworks
Perth City Kings (HCA) v Southern all-Stars

Semi-Finals

Big 8

The Mighty Oaks (HCA) v Rampaging Marmots

Great 8

Lewie the Lip (HCA) v Perth City Kings

Grand Final Series

GAME 1: The Mighty Oaks (HCA) v Lewie the Lip
GAME 2: Lewie the Lip (HCA) v The Mighty Oaks
GAME 3: The Mighty Oaks (HCA) v Lewie the Lip

Championship: The Mighty Oaks

MMMMmmmmhhhhaaaaahhhhhhhaaaa!!!! The writing is on the wall! lol

Now, if that doesn't generate some discussion nothing will...
