I thought it was pretty common knowledge he got signed as some big shot engineer of some type or other. If I remember right isn't it overseas? The guys that made this site are pretty freaking smart and I think they did well for themselves outside of BB. It's understandable that some of them had to move on.
I for one, however, would be estatic if there was an increase in BB interaction with users. I think lately it's been really good what with the server streaming and Marin covering the Bug Forum like a pro. If there was someone like that in the Suggestion forum giving feedback it'd be killer.
