Heh...

Was definitely not an attack on your grammar! You'll have to excuse me, I'm a bit salty about the restrictive nature of "2nd teams" here at BB.

I can't speak for all, but I just don't think alot of ppl find the idea of a 1st div league with 3+ bot teams, and only 10 odd active teams not in your main league as the best challenge of a game that is designed around world wide competition.

I think you don't understand what I'm saying - I *like* my community. I *like* being able to have our country exist.
At any rate... yet how do we do in international competition?
U21 side is #44, NT is #20. Gee. How's that within a "game that is designed around world wide competition"?

Your in one of the bigger nations in this game so finding competition will hardly be a problem for you. There are a lot of nations that dont even have 100 users in them and it's there that competitiveness is kinda hard to find.
And if your in a Nation like Japan that Malice is in then you will have a hard time finding it even in the top league.

There's not real competition in the US unless you're in D. II or higher.

Some D. IIIs and a RARE D. IV have competition consistently, but you pretty much have to be in I or II.

Like I said, I want competition now, not in 2 years.

Either there isn't competition in your league, and you'll soon be in D.III, or there is competition in your league and well... you have it.

Spot on. I've been able to tank/train for 4 seasons in the JBBL, and never had to play a relegation match. The top teams (Kyoto Shogun, Isehara Pistons and Kawaguchi Werewolves) are very good. But beyond that there's a lot of chaff.
That said, I really don't want to sacrifice our nation for 'competition'...

I really wish they'd rethink the rules on country restrictions for 2nd teams. If people wanted to join Japan because - as wolph/shiffd said - they were "into anime/whatever"... I'd be fine with that. I do love my adopted nation. It's the birthplace of my wife, and my son. If people have other reasons for "loving Japan" - that's cool with me. Might there be a rise of untoward behavior in all it's forms? Sure, and that's a truth of any larger nation.
I'm equally positive that some of it will annoy me and I'd probably get into a barney or three with some of the new-to-Japan users. Anyone who's been around me for a while in any capacity knows I can get salty. But that too is fine...
