Yea, I really don't like the current staff system. When I started, I didn't know what I was doing and hired all new staff.. level 8 PR manager. There hasn't been a lower one since so I'm basically wasting $17k a week that I can't afford. It's too easy for newbies like me to make a very costly mistake and have to live with it for weeks.

Why do we need a new system? Why don't we accept the system that has been put in place for ALL teams? The owner who is training stamina and free throws and saving lots of $$$ has an excellent idea. A creative solution rather than bitching and moaning about things being unfair, etc.

Maybe we should all just be given level 10 staff for free and have training improvements 5000x as fast. That would be fun, no?

And if newbies read the rules entirely before making mistakes, they might not make them. Or by making mistakes, the newbies learn. And learning by making mistakes is an education not soon forgotten.

You don't think having to pay the severance pay is enough of a mistake for a newbie? Instead they have to go bankrupt paying high salaries for weeks? At this point, I would take NO PR manager over the guy I have, but that's not an option. And I *did* read the rules, and the staff section does not say that you will only have 1 choice a week. My problem wasn't that though, it was that I received TV income the day I joined and didn't understand that it was different from what you would normally receive for a game, so I thought I could afford it. But anyway.

the truth is: we need a whole new staff system asap!!

We want different staff for different teams! And we want to be able to choose (and pay for!) the staff that we want and need! Please, BB's!

for the first time, we think the same thing :P

Okay, maybe I was hasty and rash with my reply. Sorry. But, a similar thing happened to me. I sold my best player and then watched my finances very carefully until I was above water again. Maybe that will work for you. Good luck!

Probaly adding more options might help, like 3 coaches to choose from every week and even adding coach options such as offensive/defensive/zone minded coach etc.

I'd suggest more than that. For instance, we have our choice of thousands of players on the transfer list each week. Why not have some variety among staffers, too?

because there's no team who changes his coach every week...

do you prefer to set your coach or Staf for a whole session?
