So it kinda backfires for Baikinman, and he loses both the games that matter this week (vs me, Cup).

What my question is: how can he afford this team?
He has an absolutely enormous salary for Div II - $ 615 455 per week. His arena is 15,715... and I estimate he earnt a bit over $320k last game.
Now, I'd imagine his merch is around 80k max. TV is 94k. Even if he has low-end staff salaries, and no scouting - I still figure there's a significant short-fall each week.
I'd imagine at least 150k.

He'd have to have a sizable amount saved to be able to continue to do this...

He's OFTEN here, and has been part of BB since before me. He's not someone else's alt Wolph.

I was just looking at the Bikinman - Pistons game. It went into OT and Pistons only won by 3 with a couple of Bikinman's guys fouling out. And, it was at Ise's arena. I guess you should be hoping he's about to go bankrupt.

Well, I guess it won't matter. You should run through the rest of your opponents and be 22-0. You'll be automatically promoted based on some bots.

Because of the last bit, it's more for interest on HOW he's managing it.

You proabably have millions saved I know I had about $2 million saved when I promoted. The cost to buy players now is trivial. I could have afforded to make a $200k a week loss for most of a season well worth it to get the promotion, oddly less worth it once you are here as there isn't a big payoff for winning the championship.

David couldn't beat Goliath. I tried and threw everything at him but with all those $200k players and a roster worth double mine and home court advantage I could only get within 16. If the game had been at my arena it would have been a lot more interesting.

Was there a chance I could win without doing it?

He's had these players for WEEKS now. More than a month. I'm just interested to see how much longer he keeps 'em - all the way?

Wolph now has the most expensive roster in the history of the JBBL..
$ 1 392 303.....that is just silly. I guess not logging in and having Baikiman beat me was a blessing in disguise...this renting crap is going to kill the game before anything else...they really need a buy deadline in the cup...
