As a newer user are there any other forums that you have used/currently use for other hobbies/games which you found more intuitive etc. you can recommend?

Actually, I don't remember any of them as anti-intuitive and jumbled as they are here.

Do you think something like that might make it more useful/easier to navigate...or maybe just make it seem worse (more complicated?)?

More complicated and jumbled than ever, sorry.

So less of a sorting issue and more of a format/display issue for you?

Your distinction is clear as mud.

It might be a preference issue ...

Not being able to find a thread a day or two after you read it is not a matter of simple preference. Not knowing where you are in a long thread is not a matter of simple preference. Severely limited listings in the Sneak Peek is not a matter of simple preference. You cannot spin it as a matter of taste.

The organisation of the threads can be improved. As of now there are similar threads in 2-3 different places: bb-global national threads, specific language threads etc. Simplify some of that: national forums are good, just leave them as they are, but do consolidate when possible.

Notifications are very poor. Most people don't realise there are posts in their own league thread. Some notifications or a more evident interface would go a long way. Hattrick does not have a perfect system, but it's immediately obvious if someone posts in your league's thread. If they implement notifications for league and nation it would already be nice. Something that users can also turn off would be even nicer (so nobody would complain).

Visually, if they could add more threads to the the main page would also be nice.

The search function would be useful, but as someone said, I did use google to search for threads when I started too. So I guess that works in a way.

What i know i found irretating about the forums at first was that it was rather hard to get a grip on how to find folders and how to add them to the forum sneak peek.

Geez, you can do that??? Wow ... how?

Then if you want to remove them as you become more acquainted with how the forums work thats fine by me.
Also make it so that there are 10 threads in each folder or so that you can choose haw many you want to see at the sneak peek.

And you can do those things, too??? Wow. Now is there somewhere where they tell you how to do these things? That would make the forums better already!

Why not remove potential? Why BB want to limit player potential?
I will be more fun and pratical to remove potential.
