Well done on the wedding I hope it was all great and perfect.

Fire Country Trail Blazers gets the bye in the QF of the cup? Wow that makes up for getting Swoosh in the last round. It is really bad news for Kawaguti Werewolf and Kitakyushu because next week he is payiong his $1.1 million in salaries purely to beat them.

While Wolph gets a free pass the other three matches look good.

Small Town Operators v Stunners is the game of the round.

Baikinman can ignore his league and do whatever it takes to beat Isehara Pistons who don't have the same luxury.

Kyoto Shogun v Yokozuna. I wish this was at my arena. I wish Okayama Chon hadn't just spent $2,000,000 on players. I wish Small Town Operators weren't playing aisteru.4ever this week. I wish I was playing Elandstraat 263 this week. I wish I hadn't played 3 good teams in the cup in a row while others get a free pass. Wish, wish, wish.

Yup. Because at the end of the day, whatever happens with our match-up, he's still winning the B8.

Well it is a David v Goliath game buy you all know how that ended up.

Yokozuna. has a $300k C, $250k SG, $200k and a lot more $50-$100k players heading for a million dollar roster.

I have no-one over $100k and will be starting at least one guy with a salary $30k or less. Huge mismatch. If the schedulers wanted the best spectacle they would hold it at my arena.

What I do have is all key players in proficient game shape to his strong, maximum possible enthusiasm and nothing to lose.

I guess I also have some spare millions if I make a last minute change to my no rentals policy.

So it kinda backfires for Baikinman, and he loses both the games that matter this week (vs me, Cup).

What my question is: how can he afford this team?
He has an absolutely enormous salary for Div II - $ 615 455 per week. His arena is 15,715... and I estimate he earnt a bit over $320k last game.
Now, I'd imagine his merch is around 80k max. TV is 94k. Even if he has low-end staff salaries, and no scouting - I still figure there's a significant short-fall each week.
I'd imagine at least 150k.

He'd have to have a sizable amount saved to be able to continue to do this...

He's OFTEN here, and has been part of BB since before me. He's not someone else's alt Wolph.

I was just looking at the Bikinman - Pistons game. It went into OT and Pistons only won by 3 with a couple of Bikinman's guys fouling out. And, it was at Ise's arena. I guess you should be hoping he's about to go bankrupt.

Well, I guess it won't matter. You should run through the rest of your opponents and be 22-0. You'll be automatically promoted based on some bots.

Because of the last bit, it's more for interest on HOW he's managing it.

You proabably have millions saved I know I had about $2 million saved when I promoted. The cost to buy players now is trivial. I could have afforded to make a $200k a week loss for most of a season well worth it to get the promotion, oddly less worth it once you are here as there isn't a big payoff for winning the championship.

David couldn't beat Goliath. I tried and threw everything at him but with all those $200k players and a roster worth double mine and home court advantage I could only get within 16. If the game had been at my arena it would have been a lot more interesting.
