I like. Necessary to keep the newbie.
It may only be a discount or some extra money.

Lopo! 50k a week is not enough
The problem is that the player buy weak and is not built arena.
My idea: Just arena built or coach buy the starting money

If you have 300,000$ and you spend all your money, you lose here, but if there are 10 million$, they can not all be spent unnecessarily. It can be divided into more than 300,000$.

Actually i think the amount of money newcomers receive in the beginning is quite good and should not be changed. If they would start with a crappy team and no bonuses whatsoever to start this game is unfair.

Players spent their time to register and should be rewarded accordingly, and 300k in the begginning plus 50k a week bonus is great and should not be changed. It helped me a lot, of course i bought some bad players but i would call that learning, learning how to play. Next time or a time after the next time i didnt buy so bad players anymore and made better deals. This is how it rolls and has to be.

I don't believe the money is the problem. I recently started playing and after reading the game manual and browsing the forums a bit I realised I made a few mistakes in my first week or so but like Krakon said thats just learning. I had a few friends start and quit quite soon but it wasn't the money or the complexity that made them lose interest it was the time they had to put in. They didn't realise that they wouldn't tearing up the B3 2 weeks in. I don't have any ideas on that front but if they're was a way to prepare new players for the pace of the game or I think I read something in here about season goals. Those might be good to give new people some shorter-term goals to shoot for.
