Well for starters as has been pointed out the listed position is not always the best position for them to play. A SF can be built differently for different uses. They can be listed as a PG or a PF and still be better suited to play SF.
The main thing is how the player fits the teams needs. There has been lots of discussions within our federations about what makes a solid SF. But these are generally done in private to not advertise our players skills.

How will you help give a wide fariety of SF's for the NT over the next 2 seasons?

IMO the NT needs to take a long term interest in developing players. I have demonstrated that to the Australian BB community.

Silly computer does that sometimes. 3 post is a bit much usually when it happens it is only 2 times.

Well as nominations have closed it would be silly for me to pull out. I would be mroe then happy for other aussies and other people to run and would be happy if someone else got the job. In fact if they were better suited in my eyes I would vote for them myself. Even if sparky was an aussie I do not see anything to make me think he would do a better job then me. His comment about only have one SF shows a bit of a lack of understanding. Some of the best SFs are listed at other positions. In fact the one SF on the roster would be the 3rd string SF.

Why do I need to prove the aussie community is strong? If the option was someone with no experiance as an aussie and someone from elsewhere who was an obvious good manager I could see someone from elsehwere winning it. But the fact remains someone who knows what they are doing always steps up. I know of a couple of very good local managers who would of put their hand up if no one else did.

I did step down from 21NT after 4 seasons as I knew whitewind would do a good job and had helped a lot and deserved a chance. Well he more then shown that to be true.

People will vote as they see fit. If I was not running It would have to be a unknown local running for me to vote for sparky. But I guess we will find out before long. If he is keen to be a part of what we do here he should get involved and show people what he can bring. To come from outside and win someone would need to show without doubt they are a better option.

To be honest I wish someone else had run. The more people the more debate about things.

Like all smaller nations competing with the big guns is always hard. But we have won Asia in 21NT and I believe with the new lot of players coming through we could win it in the NT. But beating China will take a lot of people to help build the team and that is imo the biggest role of the NT Manager is to engage the wider community in the goal.

I wish the team had some different options in SFs. Those we have similar skill sets and it limits the way the side can play a bit. It's not just about haveing 300k monsters but a group of players with different skills in good gameshape to select a team which can fulfill the game plan for any given day.
