The scheduled time is the same, it is just because your browser does not know where you are or thinks (cache!) he is still logged in but is not.

If you have a look at the app, it does not occur there.

LOL

I'm assuming it has something to do with training updates...

...but I'm only guessing.

Could be the case, I have absolutely no idea. But I hope everything will play out as originally planned (and I believe it will).

So what kind of thoughts/objectives you have about/for tonights' HGL match against Suuret Muinaiset? Round 5 match against them provided me a tough loss, and personally so far most interesting match in HGL... What a thriller, and one of the most memorable and meaningful matches in my BB history! Practically a one point loss, as two free throws were being sunk by SUM at 48:00 on the clock.
It's always disappointing to lose on last seconds (yes, Mr. Waris, I'm looking at you! xD) while at the same time missing couple of free throws and field goal(s), but in this case it leaves a bittersweet aftertaste as I love these kind of thrillers. And I think I was able to give them a proper run for their money (despite having $101K lower top8-salaries), and shot the lights out from the downtown (54,2%), while simultaneously very unfortunately leaving decisive points on the charity stripe, 11 of 17; (64,7%). Jantunen, Kunttunen and Sorvoja shot combined 3 of 8 from the line, and they all are normally 85-91% shooters.
While normally not fouling too much is a virtue, in this case another bad tactical mistake of not fouling early enough (to force Suuret Muinaiset to charity stripe on time - it's not the optimal time to take 4th team foul of the quarter at 47:59 if you still want to force opponent to shoot free throws and fight for the win) didn't really help.

Anyway, good luck to everyone for today's HGL matches!

By the way, I really like this idea/implementation of yours MrJ (quoted below):

Season 1 MVP Voting SWAN RIVER SERPENTS

Votes / Player (After 5 games)

9 - C.Mikedis
6 - M.Dunn
5 - K.Regis
5 - E.Livingstone
3 - PJ Hunter
2 - T.Vuong

Thanks for your reply LA-flaterik123, now that you mentioned it that really makes sense.

So, league tables have been updated again! No especially close scores on Round 6, but only two teams remain without losses anymore, now that Santa Eufemia Ducks were able to win one of the strongest contenders in HGL, Heywood Big Dogs.

Looking forward to next round... I'm still slightly bitter of those three consecutive losses to Swan River Serpents last season, so I'm trying to make next Monday a payday for my team... ;)

Interesting (especially in terms of being possibly somewhat or in some cases very even) matchups for Round 7 include especially:

- SUM vs. RAJ (SUM 4 wins-2 losses, top8 $371K. RAJ 3-3, $305K).

- HEY vs. WMO (HEY 5-1, $520K. WMO 5-1, $328K)

- TRO vs. HCH (TRO 1-5, $216K. HCH 2-4, $148K)

- LGM vs. ED (LGM 3-3, $222K. ED 5-1, $280K)

- BIG vs. BUC (BIG 0-6, $59K. BUC 1-5, $98K).

So as you can see, randomness throws more even matches to some rounds than to some others, and Round 7 should be an especially interesting one (again, in terms of close scores, and in getting those all-important regular season wins against your closest rivalries)!

Yep. I think you are right. My internet was having a lot of issues.

Cheers, Erik.

My times have adjusted as they normally do for Daylight Savings ending. Across the space of a year my games run at four different times depending on how our clock changes and I'm assuming the clock in the host country of the game. But my pickup games are currently showing at 10:30pm, which is the same as all of the other 'correctly' scheduled games that I've already played.

Copped a solid loss yesterday - the Ducks are a VERY handy team.

Yeah, I saw that loss. You will likely get a chance at redemption in the post-season I'm thinking.

Wow, four is a lot... In Finland we only have two different BB league/playoffs match starting times depending on DST changes. I think your assumption about the difference between your current local time and time in the host country should be the explaining factor... But I'm glad to hear PU games still remain on your schedule at the times they're supposed to.

Yes, having looked at the box scores and season team stats, SED is very difficult team to beat this season... However, with teams on relatively same skill (salary) level, in some cases injuries and/or fouling outs will play a role in determining the score.
Practically anything can happen within "any given Sunday", as they say in States (referring to the possibility of anyone being able to beat anyone in one match series - on any given day). Interestingly enough, HGL playoffs are played on Sundays, so will this become a self fulfilling prophecy, that we'll get some surprising results in playoffs? :)

Hello you all,
I was mentioning earlier about possibly providing some team/players average age data later on. Well, I'm glad to inform, that the time has come, here you are! :)

Below you'll find average ages; first number is teams' Top 8 earners' average age, and second number is the average for Top3 earners of the team. Table is organized so that youngest teams based on Top8 values are listed first (and if tied, younger Top3 first), and oldest last.

At the end, after the table, I also listed some of the league averages - more on that below.

HGL average ages based on Top8 and Top3 player salaries:
(Teams' players listed on descending order based on their salary, and Top8 and Top3 players on that list are included in this listing)

Top8 earners Top3 earners
Team Aver.age(T8) Aver.age(T3)
LMS 21,6 22,7
HCH 24,3 25,0
SRS 24,5 33,0
RAJ 25,0 27,3
BUC 25,1 22,3
BIG 25,1 26,3
D 26,1 25,7
LGM 26,1 31,7
SUM 26,4 26,0
WMO 26,9 31,0
TRO 27,0 27,0
SED 27,8 30,3
ED 28,5 30,0
HAD 29,0 32,0
WAG 30,5 32,3
HEY 30,8 32,7

HGL averages: 26,5 28,5

Below you'll also find an average age of players, based on their salary position within their respective teams.
For example, P1 refers to "Player 1" in a team, who earns most money per week in that team.
P8 refers to a player who earns 8th most in a team, and so on.

HGL average ages based on salary position/ranking within their teams:
P1 P2 P3 P4 P5 P6 P7 P8
28,4 27,9 29,1 26,3 24,1 26,3 25,9 24,4

Data is accurate on April 28th, 2025 (after Round 6 of play in HGL Season 1).
However, likely it's going to remain the same (or almost the same) due to the nature of HGL for the rest of the Season 1!

Congrats Deano

- HEY vs. WMO (HEY 5-1, $520K. WMO 5-1, $328K) --> 108 - 107

A bit unlucky, and my point-gard, second salary of my team, was sorely missing for injurie, it was too much to challenge Deano
