Is the information on the top players available to buy from Amazon yet?

No its not, but as a member of that forum and seeing my players stats posted up there for anyone to see, Im willing to give you the information on any players I see on the national team that you may want info on....its only collusion right? If you have a 6 pack of Kirrin and a prospect you are willing to give up? =o)

The information is of little use to me... I prefer the I set my team out see if you can beat me rather than worry if player x has 1/2 a week more training than player y in a certain skill...

would be fun to take a look to see how my players are getting on in comparison...

and I would offer Asahi super dry or Sapporo... not a big fan of Kirin - wouldnt want to wish it on you!!

as for a prospect? anyone in mind.... i dont think I have a prospect on my roster at the moment...

My 2500 character post timeout. Do you think it was a coincidence?

When you read the entire post (which I did before I started typing), there are things that are happening in the game that are misleading and swayed in favor of a select group. Since this game is ultimately about money, it would seem to me how you can attain money would be spelled out for everyone to see. This is not the case and had to findout that teams who earned rights by playing a game a few months earlier had access to amounts of money unknown to the rest of us. I don't call that earned I call that shady.

I guess it's the american way. Complain other countries are bending (since the "c" word can't be used). the rules so change the rules only to find out the people complaining are bending the rules as well.

And this is what we call fun..... :)

How did we score?

I would like to share my "Mutual TIE Template", so others can share in the joy that is Mutual TIE'ing. I understand that part of it is communication, so this way you all can join in the fun.

Hello friend!

My name is _____, I am the manager of _____. How is the weather today in your specific region of ______? It is beautiful/not beautiful/crappy (choose one) here in ______, my region of choice.

Crazy season __ we're having here, huh? You have done a tremendous job of managing your team, ____. I see you made it to the __th round of the Cup! Good job/You got screwed!

Well, I have a way that you can do better in your difficult home/away game against ______. We can Mutual TIE! What is a Mutual TIE? Well, it is wonderful! Because the enthusiasm system is so damn ______, it benefits us both to TIE our next game against _______. I mean, you were going to Normal anyway, right? Cause only an ______ would CT a league game! Exactly! The great thing is, since we were both going to Normal, we should just both TIE! Everyone wins!

Well, not everyone wins really. In reality, _______ suffers greatly from this. It results in him having ______ malfunction, and _______ disorders. Oh, and the following list of people/groups also suffer because of our Mutual TIE: _______, _______, ________, Libretarians, ________, ________, Deadmeat, _______, and any damn dirty foriegners from ______! But you don't care about them - you are from the great region of ______!

Anyway, I hope you consider my proposal. I'm actually already created a "answer template" that you can copy and paste below. Feel free to use it in other mutually advantageous situations as well!

Regards,

__________

Answer Template:
Thanks ______! You are truly wise, ethically sound, and righteous! In response to your offer, I chose to ______ our next game. May all be well with you, your family, and _______!

Cheers,

________

Strangely enough - that is not far from the email I received. They must have used this as a template. Thanks for sharing.

Its amazing how quiet particular people have been...anyone mind if I pull a quote from other threads? go ahead and say they were taken completely out of context, sounds like when it comes to the NT (where there is little chance at mutual TIE & an elected position) he stands firm and takes the high road, but when it comes to his personal team, alls quiet on the northern front....

I'd be going against everything I believe in with the NT to set up a guaranteed loss.

While a mutual TIE isnt a gaurunteed loss..it is an arrangement

What are you talking about??? I started pretty damn early and I never had "rights to unknown money"?

Care to explain? I know you don't mind giving me a well thought out, long winded response, but I figured it was polite to ask.

Forgive me for being a bit upset that I find that there are arrangements being made in a game that is supposed to be competitive. I have a few friends that play, and honestly if and when we ever do run into each other you can bet that there will be no arrangements, we are probably both going to let it all hang out for some bragging rights. Its called pride, its called a competitive spirit. If you dont think your team is good enough to beat another team you go crying to your cohorts and ask them for help? Sorry, I was always a fan of a fair fight, yeah I may have come from away from a few with a black eye and some bruises, but I learned and next time got a little quicker and a few better shots in. Im not the type when I get beat, I go back and get 10 of my friends and gang up on a guy, I get in there and prove my worth.

So then....

Anybody up for a little mutual 'Take it Easy?'

I just play TIE every game no matter what. I guess I'm not much for strategy. I just keep hoping that when I have lost enough games people will then TIE me because I am an automatic win for them regardless. Chalk one up for the passive-aggressive mutual TIE.

WFU03,
I had to take a legal ethics class as well in Law school, but steered clear of them otherwise. Classroom discussion sounded a bit too much like this thread for my taste. Bleeding hearts from all sides but not a sound argument to be found.

Ok, I'll say it.

What place does Ethics have in Law School?

I started playing BB last season, and I made some calculations about my teams economy. Right now my outcome is about 100k, my income is about 120k. So, it's a balanced income. Counting on some arena public downsize when I lose, it's not left much of it. I was able to put some pieces together from the 3 weeks 50k extra income (enjoy some bargains in the market) but it didn't left much of it. So, I have an OK team for my level. I'm in the 4th division of my country, made my arena bigger and been able to stick with the price raises of the players and reached the numbers I said. I don't know how much I will get if I move to the higher league, but I don't predict having a growth to take my team to the next level in the next 4 seasons. And by that time, I will have to change the players. So I will be stuck on this level forever. The teams that started the game earlier effectively have the advantage. And I've got to give it up for the guy who started the post, even with the extra training minutes (that in my opinion may do some serious damage to the teams on the top) is not enough for the teams from below to advance.
At least this is my view from the game. Because, even if I wanted to spend money to buy one of those 11k week salary player, that would affect my team's economic balance. And I don't know if the higher league pays the difference to get better players.
So, in my opinion. Having low level rich teams like HT (mine has a 10k solid week income without a home match) is the way to have competitive low level leagues. Because, when they feel ready they will fight for the top! Personally, i think this might be my HT's team year to do so (one million on the wallet and in the 9th league) :P
