in no particular order but here are people i'd say are in my top 10

Jason Kidd - a TRUE PG, leader, and all around player (This guy is a triple double machine, check the all time Triple Double list i think he's #3)

Kobe Bryant - got better as a player after the Shaq duo era

Dwayne Wade - overall just a great player and proven champion

Derrick Rose - a SG at PG position, lightning fast and going to be a great player from here on out

Kevin Durant - a great young player and scorer

Chris Paul - a new age player who's an actual PG, great defender, and leader

Rajon Rondo - another new age player who's an actual PG, great defender, and comes to play when needed (another Triple Double threat, especially in the playoffs when it actually matters)

Dirk Nowitzki - how do you stop a 7' scorer? you don't and you can't

Kevin Garnett - this guy is a beast, sacrifices scoring for a championship, intense leader and defender

i'm reluctant to put Lebron James in my top 10 because of his "Randy Moss" attitude in the past of quitting on his team BUT he does give us some highlight reel blocks and is able to get away with traveling with his patented "crab walk", if he wasnt an arrogant a-hole i'd LOVE this dude. Thank you David Stern and ESPN for making this guy above the NBA with "The Decision"

1. LeBron james- best all around player

2. Derrick Rose- hey, he won the mvp for a reason right?

3. Kevin Durant- big mans size with a guards skill. can score with the best of them

4. Chris Paul- plays on a horrible team and is still extremely productive. he would be higher but i think he needs to be more aggressive

5. Dirk Nowitzki- he doesn't get enough credit for the big numbers he's been putting up. a tremendous player, and probably the best big in the league right now

6. Dwight Howard- Most dominate post presence in the league

7. Kobe Bryant- he's so low because he sucks. people argument is that he has 6 championships right? well a championship, is a team achievement, so people shouldn't even bring up championships when measuring player greatness. hell, if it was all about the championships, then derek fisher(who has won 5) would be considered one of the greatest players to ever play basketball...which he's not. but he's on the list cause he CAN ball.

8. Carmelo Anthony- he's a huge ballhog, and obviously can't play well when he's not shooting the ball a majority of the time, but he scores big with those shots consistently

9. D'wayne Wade- Always been a great player, probably always will be. but he's been overshadowed by a much better lebron this year :'(

10. Allen Iverson- haha, he's just my favorite player, it sucks that he's not in the NBA anymore
