I noticed that he has now bought a player, and seems to be a fairly decent one. I think he's a BB junky. No matter how much he hates it and wants to quit, the addiction just keeps calling him back. He can't help himself but to log on and get his fix.

As far as when or why or how my team goes bot or not...that is not under my control.

This is BS....It is under your control, simple as not logging on for 6 weeks.

And by logging in, you are just stopping a team in the 2nd div from be swept up in the bot clean up. A human/farm/multi is better than a BOT.
And if you are asking the BBs or GMs if you can have your arena or money in the bank transfered to your new team, they have already given you your answer in the forums.....And it was NO!!
You just have to start over...Even BC Toroos started over with a 5K arena and starter up money.
Now I am all for then transfering your Supporter over to your new team.

You just can't walk away, huh?

Well guys, for all the song and dance he went through, Wolph's buying players and scheduling scrimmages.
Gotta kill you that you sold Tsunami!

This has been the very definition of ragequit/remorse-return. How does this fit in with your missus' desire for you to quit video games?

For the record playing BB in micronation is no longer worth my time, I'm trying to get this account closed.

I told you what you need to do:

The best way to do it is to change your password to something random that you can't possibly remember and then log out.

I never said you WERE an arse, I just said that it was poor form to justify doing something crappy just because "everyone else does".

As Brutus/YC have stated: if you're gonna bail, just bail. Dragging it out only further screws us over as far as prolonging you turning bot and eventually being replaced.
And as YC also said, I thought you wanted a US team - that keeps on being put back the longer you're on in Japan.

From the game manual:

If you go into debt, you will be charged a 5% penalty each week until you are positive again at the time of a economic update. If your account is below -$500,000 at the time of a weekly economic update, you are given two weeks to bring your account back above -$500,000 for an economic update before your key players will be put on the transfer list automatically with a starting price of $0. If, after your players are sold, you are still not above -$500,000, you will be fired as the manager at the next economic update. Debt and bankruptcy are the first items calculated in the economic update each week. "Available cash after bids" does not count as money for the purposes of computing bankruptcy or the 5% interest penalty on a negative balance. Players must sell prior to the weekly economic update for these credits to pull you out of bankruptcy.

Based on this it will take at least 3 weeks for you to reach the point where the system puts your players up for sale. But considering the quality of players you are buying I would guess you will get enough money back from them that you will go back above the -$500K threshold. I think you might find this harder to actually execute on than you think. You need to have a bunch of guys that no one would be willing to buy. May be a stretch to really execute on this.
