I was going too, but I figured I'd wait until the season ends first. We have up until the playoffs start don't we?

I would suggest making a brand new thread announcing the contest. That way it won't get buried in this one.

Sweet. Keep the focus on arena expansion too though.

During the regular season I somehow was able to finish at the top of the big 8 despite my small player saleries and during the playoffs I managed to get to the finals. Should I try to promote or should I stay a little longer in DIII to tryto imporve my team and areana first?

If you can promote, do so. Even if You spend a full season tanking in div II, the money you get is a lot more than in div III and will allow Yourself to build Your arena quicker, also there is always a chance that teams go bot during the season and You can maybe survive div II while building Your arena.

Yeah I'll say go for it too. Your division seems quite weak and your opponent only has a slightly better roster than yours (looking at the salaries). Won't be easy but it does not seem impossible either with the right strategies and a bit of luck.
Promoting to d2 will give you 500k + an attendance boost enough to fill up your (really small!) arena even with the highest prices.
If you want to compete in d2 that's another story, because you won't be able to afford a competitive roster without losing money with such a small arena. But that depends a lot in which d2 you end up.
