When draft happened, there were many Chinese players on sale and some of them were interesting for me. Chinese managers were overpaying for them quite a lot. So, did you check on those transfers too? Maybe there was a friend bidding, you don't know.
But anyways, in my opinion, you wont get banned for one transfer. If it happens again and again, then you will get banned for sure.
