you mean that a player (e.g. SG,PG) with 14/10 JS JR should also have 6-8 IS? Or this fact is valid only if your guards (SG,PG) are your's team top scorers (e.g. at Run 'n' Gun)?

for me, the priority is a little bit different:
1. Inside def
2. Rebounding
3. Shot blocking
and the last one, Inside Shot.

Well if inside D is important then you can exploit a low ID guard with a guard with good IS isnt? If IS is not important then why do you need to defend it?

Because, in My team, I like more defensive players:)also, think that ID will help me when I will play 2:3 zone with teams that have strong C/PF or even inside oriented SF.

I agree with you. ID is very important. Why else would they give you a sub-level of ID when you train OD. My starting SG and SF both have strong or higher ID. Even my backups have respectable ID. I would also say that IS is very useful. My list would look like this..
1. Inside D
2. Rebounding
3. Inside S
4. Shot blocking

my list since I run a 3-2 defense:

1. Rebounding
2. Inside shot (if he has decent amount of driving then this would be NO.1)
3. Inside D

Dont even care about SB on smaller men.

Why ID is rated higher than IS?

That is an easy question to answer. On offense, driving and IS help each other out. I prefer IS over driving myself. But Inside D helps shuts down lay ups and points in the paint by the other teams G's.
Look at my starting SG...
Andrea Mainardi (8076105) Small Forward ....I play him at SG now...

Weekly salary: $ 25 651

DMI: 238500
Age: 21
Height: 6'5" / 196 cm
Potential: star
Game Shape: proficient
Jump Shot: wondrous Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: sensational Handling: respectable
Driving: strong Passing: inept
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: awful Free Throw: mediocre

Experience: awful

He is still a work in process, but with some more IS and JR and 2 pops in passing..he is going to be a beast.

i am beginning to believe rebounding might be the most important aspects of the game. maybe thats the reason it is highly priced. all five player are responsible for rebounding and even a pg affects the rebounding rating more than you might think. so even though it is pricy and hard to find, a good rebounding pg (respectable is just enough i believe) should make your team better.
