1st up will be 40th ranked Bulgaria. We should smash them if I can have a good training/GS update.

From now on he will be known as Tremendous Takayoshi now that he has 5 x tremendous skills. Not bad at age 21. I still hope by the end of the season for 5 x wondrous. I think he will be pushing for senior team selection in a season or 2 unless he caps early.

Well, I got tired of waiting for a scrimmage and excepted a scrimmage offer from the Barbados NT team. That's right, not the u-21 team but the senior team. So it is safe to say that the 21's will be getting some run. The only 20 yr old starter will be Stunners beast.
BTW...I called two more players up to the U-21, the squad is looking pretty good for next season.
Biggest need for next season....has to be passing for G's...I am losing 3 tremendous + passers for next season..
for the bigs it is easy.....ID and Rebounding....

Looking forward to it! After a fairly successful time in the U21s, Matsumoto is looking forward to the fight to get into the NT!

Same with Kawagichi, but it will be a while.
The amazing thing is I think The Shinkansen will be even better. Already has sensational OD and strong ID at age 19. However Kawagichi will never be 5 x wondrous now, he has a marvellous too early.

A very interesting game vs Barbados seniors with a close loss to us. But there were four standouts. Kawagichi had 20 points at over 50% and 7 rebounds, Matsumoto had 20 rebounds and 17 points, Wakatsuki had 16 of each and Amori had 14 assists as a shooting guard. All 21s but maybe some future NT guys there. 1 x hall of fame, 2 x MVP and 1 x superstar.

I just did very limited scouting. I did the group demonstration & then interviewed a couple of guys that had a lot of balls there, really didn't spend much and as a result didn't draft much.
It is funny that Fire Country Trail Blazers & I were the only 2 teams that didn't get our 1st prefernce despite being 2 of the most keen trainers in the JBBL. I know there are a few others but most dont.
My second choice was an 5/3 player. 5 ball skills and 3 potential. I thought he might be good. Not good. I might try to list the first 2 & see if anyone will buy and train them.
