I'm really not sure how my ticket sales were so low then. Winning record and a higher division still have to overcome an optimized arena right?

My Arena is just awesome, even though i got my prices too high it seems.
Problem with good arenas: probably still rotting in IV.

Well Im obviously a way behind DLR who from memory in the first game of this season cracked the 200 K in Div III in Utopia
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/277033/arena.aspx .

Belatedly in my next home game I am hopeful of finally cracking the 200 K myself.

Last home game prior to the recently completed expansion, reaped $195,303

At some stage this season I will have to turn the focus from arena building, to promoting to Div II

Edit

DLR despite starting the season with a $202,938 gate and having invested heavily in expansions since then, would I imagine be disappointed with his last home gate which by my calculations was only $171,398

Both DLR and yourself are out of the Cup.
However, you are undefeated 9-0 in your league while DLR is having at 4-5.
The arena income hit should be from the league performance.

The league performance had a great impact to his Bleacher income as it dropped from $130K to only $96.9K.
A $33K drop or 25% drop.
This is huge as bleacher income is normally 50-60% of the total arena income

That certainly would help explain part of DLR's drop in gate attendance.

DLR to his credit is only a game out of the top 4 and appears to be banking a huge amount of money each week.

if I was in that league I would be really worried as to how much damage DLR could cause if he brought up late and managed to sneak into the finals

Definitely.

He just spent $1.85M to expand his arena by another 5500 seats.
Not to mention that in addition to gate receipts, he is also getting a handsome profit in the transfer list both from training trainees and day-trading.
Up till now, he is at $3.5M profit in transfers.
