Kwek Jin Jin 36 points led Shohoku Backers to send Compassvale out of tournament 91-78

No longer belong to Eric & Compass, now the badboy is back.

Led by inside force Kwek Jin Jin & Dmitri Sapsay, each basket by Compassvale become meaningless as both giants kept tearing up their thin interior defense. Compassvale already trailed in early games before Edi Rusin cut it to 10 points before intersection. However, Dauglas Spilevskis decide to be playmaker and feeds more easy basket his unstoppable bigman. The winner is already decided even before quarter 4 starts, with Shohoku lead more than 20 points. Rudi Kallas led Compass with 17 points. Shohoku Backers stingy defense only allow Compass to shoot 35% from field and 78 points.

Meanwhile at Lions XII arena, crowd were booing the home team as they did not want to fight Eric United, resulted Eric win 98-53. The decision of Mr Choo definitely questionable, as they actually able to fight Eric team with their best Singaporean duo bigmen in Chung Wen Xin & Mo Jian Ting. Eric was without bigman Trifonas Kazakos.

Lastly, more SBBL stars are falling, as they are beaten by Div2 teams. West Coast Warriors beat Singapore Slingerz 96-92, and U21 player Amar Sarkar from Phantomech kept his hot hands to beat YOG team 109-71. He shot 6/7 FG and 3/3 3PT en route to 17 points.

Lionheart Jaguar claim important win after dropped last three, beat SG Young Guns on National TV 96-91

Lukas Fritton scored 29, and Sewerian Wawruch dropped 28 as Jaguar back into track after escaped from YG arena with a Win. The score was tied at 91 before Foong Long Meng made a questionable foul, which enable Kang Puay Ying to sink two clutch free throw. After another 3 point miss by YG, Jaguar secured possession and Momo Makhlav made another FT. And Kang Puay Ying closed it with final clutch pair FT after a giveaway foul by YG.

The match almost belong to YG, as both giants Foong and Goh Kwang Cheng were outrebounding whole Jaguar team (40 vs 31). Even YG versatile Point Guard Lampros Tsartsaris kept abusing KPY down the stretch, bulling in for offensive rebounds and tip ins. Situation got worse for Jaguar as their main man Wawruch fouled out on final minute. Thanks to Foong's foul, Jaguar got a break.

The weekend game won't be perfect without whereabouts from Lau Pa Sat arena. New BKT Kings had an easy victory against rival (also alliance) Flyer Sonic 110-78. It seemed like BKT going to struggle after Ahmad Islam foul trouble, but their backup bigman Romulis Statkunas saved their day. Teamed with Lim Shi Xin, both scored 23 points, sprint an early lead and never look back. Li An Wen led Sonic with 22 points and 11 rebs, while Captain Peh scored 16 pts and 10 rebounds.

Eric 103 Compass 85. Apparently the stubborn Eric team still won't let any team to break the goose egg yet. Veteran Simavi Duyu led the team with 29 pts and 15 rebs.
