Sorry. Must be hard to have so little control over your players. Still the 2 point loss to Singapore at the start of the season showed what a great team we had and Im sure noone blames you for all the close losses when the players just werent in shape to play. I did JS training this week and got not one pop from anyone at all, very disappointing. Back to it for another week I guess but I want The Shinkansen to be able top score at least a little bit before I go back to pressure.

How did I miss Tomohito Matsuyama going up for sale? $500k, lol I would have paid double that. That is the player I need draft to really live out my NT fantasies. I guess for now The Skinkansen will have to do. Funny that 2 of our best U21 players for season 22 are both 19 year olds with $5k salary, 3 if you include Yonetoshi Haga.

The 4 19 year olds
Yonetoshi Haga - Swoosh
Tomohito Matsuyama - Stunners
Shin Shidehara - Kyoto Shogun
Kazumi Murata - Isehara Pistons

Looks like the JBBL is leading the way & you can compete & train.

Great win against Pakistan tonight well done o a good finish to the season. Where to from here? Will you keep the 21s & try to win some scrimmages or clean house and see what the 19s and 20s can do?

I will cut the bum 21's and keep the good ones for maybe three more weeks. It would be better if I gave them the experience. so It looks like I will drop 4 of the 21's and start looking for some replacements.

Well it turned out I had no bums that were 21....so since I have 5 SF's that are 19,20 I cut two 21 yr old SF's.

What will your scrimmage strategy be? Are you looking for similar standard teams for testing or easy ones to get some ratings points?

screw the ratings points...I am going after challenges..
let's see...as of today..I am ranked 58th(62 when the season started)and I have 142.7 points..(134.8 when the season started)...so we will see how much an effect these scrimmages have.

1st up will be 40th ranked Bulgaria. We should smash them if I can have a good training/GS update.

From now on he will be known as Tremendous Takayoshi now that he has 5 x tremendous skills. Not bad at age 21. I still hope by the end of the season for 5 x wondrous. I think he will be pushing for senior team selection in a season or 2 unless he caps early.

Well, I got tired of waiting for a scrimmage and excepted a scrimmage offer from the Barbados NT team. That's right, not the u-21 team but the senior team. So it is safe to say that the 21's will be getting some run. The only 20 yr old starter will be Stunners beast.
BTW...I called two more players up to the U-21, the squad is looking pretty good for next season.

Biggest need for next season....has to be passing for G's...I am losing 3 tremendous + passers for next season..

for the bigs it is easy.....ID and Rebounding....

Looking forward to it! After a fairly successful time in the U21s, Matsumoto is looking forward to the fight to get into the NT!

Same with Kawagichi, but it will be a while.

The amazing thing is I think The Shinkansen will be even better. Already has sensational OD and strong ID at age 19. However Kawagichi will never be 5 x wondrous now, he has a marvellous too early.
