The average arena size for Naismith and Div. II is around 16k. The average total team salary across my league (II.3) is a little over 319k, with the average player getting paid almost 30k. (The average amount of players per team is 10.6875. Keep in mind, there are two bots in my league, and they were both included in the calculation.)

What Headless said applies but I don't think you want to enter D2 with an arena smaller than 10-11000 and even then you need to spend the first season in D2 growing it rapidly.

Either way, when you promote make sure you jack up all your prices substantially. With an arena your size you could actually max out all your prices and still sell out.

You can't know for 100% certain until after the relegation games end up but generally if a BOT finishes in the top 5 then it opens up one extra spot. So like the Pugs stated, there are currently 2 extra spots.

Wow 10. Thats a disheartening number. Anyways, bot promotions only occur when a bot team doesnt already relegate. So bot teams that finish 6th-8th wont count for bot promotion(well they will for div IV teams, but I think div IV is becoming obsolete for Canada). So that means there will be 3 bot promotions happening. One for MinerPride in II.2, one for Royal Windsor in II.3 and one for either Soaring Eagles or AirBurne in II.4 depending on who wins between Airburne and great ming(two bot teams).

So there You go. The top 3 teams in div III will be promoting into division II regardless of the playoffs.

Kind of depressing that Div. IV is only bots. We'd need to bring the amount of Canadian users up to 336 to get it active again.
