You could also have kept a better doctor throughout, and had a bigger bench of players. You took the risk of getting unlucky with injuries and then you did. This is not a reason in and of itself to change the injury mechanic.

Injuries are important in helping to increase the randomness and uncertainty during the season. The season outcomes can often be a bit too predictable, and injuries help shake things up. There are ways for managers to mitigate the risk and uncertainty, but those require trade offs. Making those trade offs is the heart of a manager game.

Doctor Level 6 that season, playing to be champion in spanish league, and this was my starting lineup when I had to play my first PlayOff match:

Also on the bench, one of my players was recovering from an injury so was in bad shape. I managed to play Final, but I had no chance. All my previous seasons wasted.

I understand the point that injuries make seasons more unpredictible, but there are enough factors in the game to add such a relevant one. When you play top divisions we are talking about 375k on salary with injured players. You cant replace those players.

I think injuries are fine as they are now.

This is where we hold them!

One season is three weeks.

Ha!
Hahahahahah!

Uh, dude ... you might want to check your math there!

Oh, man ...

Anyway, my 2c worth. I've lost B3 games due to an injury (preceding the game), and won Div 2 title matches due to (help from) an injury to an opponent. They make the game better, a little more randomness and a little more strategic option is in this case a good thing.

Whine all you like about it - however, please don't present your opinion as fact.
