Nice... it looks like AM treated you like Rodney Dangerfield and payed the price for it. It's still a surprise that you won so handedly considering the ratings that AM put up even with the crunch vs TIE.

Considering the look inside vs motion issue, this is not really a surprise to me. You just have to look at the shot distribution to see why O-Rod won, and deservedly so.

The New Brunswick Maddogs have had quite a difficult schedule in the tournament at such an early point of the season. They had to play against my team this week which would have been interesting if I didn't decide to certainly lose by playing my bench players. Now they have to play against a good Naismith team. I'm interested in seeing how it will affect his performance in league games because the gameshape's of his players are pretty poor to begin with.

I somehow managed to draw a D4 bot. Huge relief that I didn't end up with some of the crazy tough draws that people ended up with.

If I was going to draw a Naismith team, I'm glad it is the week that I play Torooo. And thank God it is a home game.

What are you talking about? You drew the hapless Jugglers, whom you beat by 50 points a couple weeks ago. If I were you, I'd be more concerned about a top Div II team, that might actually try to field a competitive squad. You got an easy draw.

Sorry, my bad, you actually beat them by _65_ points, not 50. Yeah, you have every reason to be worried... :)

Injuries and mismanaged minutes took their toll on the Rebels this week as we crashed out of the tourney...disappointing but it showed the need for a better doctor and a bit more depth at the 2 guard spot.

Oh yes, beating your 2nd and 3rd string players by 50+ points was the highlight of my career (with me playing normal and you playing TIE, no less). You also had your best C playing PG.

I know you could make the game interesting if you choose to... Just take a look at our rivalary history. But you do have a tough week. So while I hope to get your B-team again, I will be playing for a worst case scenario.

Hey, if you exit from the cup this week, will that change your strategy to finish 7th in Naismith?

I kind of thought you were trying to set me up. I almost played normal today... Turns out that I didn't have to despite the crunch. Good thing my defense rose to the challenge.
