Emilio Campos, Jaguar present 2nd win at Stadium, beat SaungHninPwint 88-74
It looks intimidating at first when SHP started three 100k bigman at frontline, but not for Campos.
Emilio Campos showed his post skill moves on the first half, then came out firing on the 2nd half, raining jumpshot on all corners to bring Jaguar ahead for a comfortable 54-40 lead in the middle of third quarter. SHP's Xose Barro tried to reduce with pair of 3pointers, but the margin never gone lesser than 10 points. Even at fourth quarter, SHP found their run & gun deadlocked, as Jaguar put their best perimeter defenders on the floor, resulted 84-67 lead in 3 minutes to go. SHP made some little run to end the score with 88-74.
Lionheart Jaguar were having a tough 1st half, after battling with SHP big lineup. Things went south when SHP outscored Jaguar 14-2 on early 2nd quarter. But after a short timeout, Jaguar were able to battle back for 40-36 halftime lead.
Campos, replaced injured Thomas Mayriedl, scored 24points, 13rebounds and 3asts. He has 11/17 FG and shot 2/4 from downtown. Mirko Martiz, Sklorz and Alberto Vaz each has 14, 13, and 12 points. U21 captain Fan Pingwai were having a quiet night with 6pts 5asts and 4rebs, but only 1 turnover in 48minutes. Xose Barro led SHP with 24 points.
On Big 8 side, Eric United won EBC 87-73 for the battle of top position. Gergely Szentmiklósi scored 22 points, and AUgusto Gomez had 11 assists. Simavi Duyu has 17pts and 8rebs. Mirosław Bartoszko lead EBC with 30pts and 18rebs.
