Take it from someone who really is a native English speaker (and not a US English speaker who thinks he is), there is a knack to writing for translation. I wrote copy that was translated into every language used in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for a global brand. It was a hell of a learning experience.

A big part of keeping the nuance is briefing your translators so:
- they fully understand what's expected them
- they fully understand the copy they are being asked to translate.

Your example quotes slang. Yes, you'd expect them to handle slang. That wasn't the point made.

The original criticism was that the BB news posts are ambiguous - maybe because they aim to have a sense of mystery.
I'd go along with that - both the reasons for adopting a sense of mystery by the BBs and the criticism they don't quite strike the right balance between providing light (information) and shadow (keeping the potential consequences open to interpretation).

But I can tell that they try hard to get it right.

My point, such as it is, is that it's a lot more difficult than it looks to write optimally, so don't moan too much but yeah, I can see why the LAs think they have a tough job when it comes to translating news.

The BBs have shown they listen to constructive criticism and I'm sure they will continue to improve their communication, as they do in the other areas of the game.

But yeah, at the moment, news posts are way too long, need more sub-heads and would be better served up in smaller chunks.

I have to admit that I am overjoyed to speak Amerkin and not waste my letter "u's" unnecessarily. I would think that someone as well-versed in the Queen's blather as you would A) not use so many worthless commas and would never make a mistake like

-they fully understand what's expected them.

Or is that how Brits speak English?

My point was that the BB's write their news releases with a lot of thought. The tone is intentional. In light of this, it is the job of a translator to capture the tone and the meaning. I never said it was easy, nor did I say the translators of this site were doing anything but a great and thankless job. As they say in Stratford-Upon-Avon... Cheers.

Hell, missing words keep sub-editors (that's copy-editors in Amerkin) in a job and Microsoft Word developers working on the next version of its Spelling and grandma check ;-)

In one point of time,all top league teams (I and II Leagues) will have optimal 20k seats arenas.
Right now I think that peaple are more focused on TL, and in next season, or season after that they will building up arenas to optimal no. of seats.
In that moment they will no more spanding money on building up there arenas, and they will have more money to make transfer bids, and this will lead to new rise of prices at TL.

Is my alisys correct?
Is this something what we have to expect?

It looks like I have to sacrifice this season because of the prices combined with a dire need of reinforcements... I regret selling my last player a week before the prices skyrocketed. I think it is a shame that merchandise will be smaller because I have a lot of money, but not quite enough for a good enough reinforcement (If I remember/understood right about merchandise/money on bank). I see no other option than to wait. I am at a below minimum number of players, so I can not sell anyone to acquire enough either. If I shall demolish more of my arena it will take more time as well... Looks like patience is indeed the key... Gaaaahhh! *pulling what's left of my hair* ;)
