It is the same reason that the Miami fans consider Zo the best C to ever play in South Beach despite considering Shaq.

could be also the case thats Shaq wasn't in his prime anymore at the heat ;)

Wade is the best active Guard. By the time his career ends he will have surpassed Kobe and will be #3 SG All time.

Wade don't have 10 years of playing left, and the decline will come soon. And Kobe in his prime was clearly better. All the other mentioned too, and if he is remembered like Manu in 20-30 years is questionable.
Also his status as current best guards Kobe is still on a pretty close level, Rose playing good, i personally like Paul and probadly i forgot someone but he is for sure a good candidate for this.

James is the best active Player. By the time his career ends he will have surpassed MJ and will be The Best Player in the History.

i would be surprised if he surpass Bird for the best SF less then James ending considered weaker then Durant(who also shouldn't be compared to MJ, Russel, Magic).

About Pippen: He is arguable #5...

About Wade: He is better than Gervin, and Havlicek is a forward http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Havlicek. He IS the best active SG. If Wade is untouchable as you guys say, Bryant is playing with 6 teammates on the court.

About LeBron: Can't change my mind, I saw him play thousand times, he is dominant, he is the BEST...

P.S.: How many of you think that Kobe deserved the Finals MVP back in 2009? Wasn't Pau the leader?

It's hard to compare Gervin to Pippen. The Iceman was an high-flying offensive star. Pippen was always second banana to MJ and more of a well rounded player.

Why people think that is beyond me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaEZijZgKWY ---> Greatness. A player who can do this is an all-time great. (''THIS IS MY HOUSE'')

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MRGEPivSAc ---> Legendary. A player who can do this is a legend. (''WE ARE ALL WITNESESS'')

End of discussion. Never posting again. Tired explaining the same things over and over again. I'm not changing my mind.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

You're funny.

Um, you do know that MJ put up 63 in the playoffs against the Celtics in his 2nd season in the league?

I believe that, for the purposes of this discussion, anything that happened before 2003 is considered null and void. If you remember that key constraint, it makes a whole lot more sense.
