This one time I was watching Canada U21 take on USAs U21 team and it was a close game. It was 94-90 with 15 seconds left and Canada hit a 3 to make it 94-93. Then Canada fouled USA and they missed one of the free throws and then finally with 1 second left Canadas center stepped outside the 3point line and drained another 3 ball to give Canada a 96-95 victory. Everyone in the gamechat was going wild and as the USA inbounded the ball and attempted a fullcourt prayer the buzzer went off and the prayer was not answered. The buzzer kept on going off though, over and over and over until I realized that buzzers don't ctually go off in buzzerbeater. So I woke up and hit the snooze button on my alarm.

The U.S.A vs Canada game should be interesting.

Im hoping that this game never needs to happen unless it is a final.

I'm thinking of making a new thread for the National Team News since the name of this thread sucks...obviously.
Let's see if we can toss around a few names for the new thread and start on a clean slate(since this thread started with some hostility).
Thanks.

Right now, I have a couple of dumb names: The Toronto Bongo, The Canadian Radian.

If you want to keep it here I can edit the title. I think it is appropriate that you and Z both agree on the name and then I will switch it.

Really? Zmtomako will be here to approve it, as always.
Right now, the toughest hurdle for everyone is the title of the forum.
We'll work something out, I guess.
Thanks.

With a new name comes a fresh start. David's Doses was a complete failure so I hope we get off to a better start and have better articles.
A good foundation is the key to everything in life. David's Doses had a shaky foundation fueled by feuds, insults and hostility and that was not the reason it was created, helping out the National Team and giving out game summaries and reports that will help the National Team Manager and other managers was the real reason it was established.
I hope we all drop our childish altercations and get off to a fresh start.
It is the end of an era. David's Doses is over, here comes National Team News by Olanipekun.
P.S: I would like to thank GM-beanerz for helping to change the title.

I was trying to do an extensive preview but BuzzerBeater logged me off automatically everytime, I hit 'Send Message.' This has happened three times so I just decided to summarize my major points.

Canada vs Moldova Preview:

Both team has lost a game in this tournament(BOTH TEAMS ARE 3-1). Canada lost to Switzerland and Moldova lost to Serbia.

This game is in Canada on Monday.

Canada's Big Three(Herman Kearns, Essa Abu-Kaleel and Momar Maja) have to produce for Canada to win.

Moldova has to be consistent, click together, jump to a quick start and finish from the inside.

Moldova's most important player is Alexei Carpoutoglou.

Canada will have to watch out for the Moldovan Centers.

Moldova is ranked 41st in the world; Canada is ranked 32nd.

Canada's player to watch is Momar Maja(14.25 PPG, 9 RPG, 4 APG).

Moldova's Player to Watch is Alexei Carpoutoglou(11.6 PPG, 10.3 RPG, 5.3 APG)

The biggest reason to watch this game is the coaching and Coach Zmtomako's next experiment.

Who do you think will win? Place your pick.

The people wanted Kevin Fairchild and they got him. A packed crowd(19,650 people) came out to Chinatown, home of the Genso Suikoden II to watch Canada defeat Moldova 83-87 in what was a pretty abyssmal game(the first three quarters were boring but the fourth period was the complete opposite).
Everyone were buying tickets and trying to see Zmtomako's next bold move and they got it. Zmtomako decided to bench Essa-Abu Kaleel for Kevin Fairchild as a tryout so Canadians could see what he could do. Was this good enough: In 10 minutes, he was 2-3 from the field with 4 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist. The bad side to this was Kev Fairchild got injured. Details about this will come soon.
The game was an absolute steal for Canada as myself and Mr. Burns watching the game agreed. I dropped in during the 3rd quarter and Burns told me Canada hadn't taken a lead the whole game. Griffin also chipped in once in a while with some witty comments. The only time we took the lead though before the final 5 minutes of the game was a 3 point lead in the 3rd quarter.
The win came when Canada and Moldova were tied and with 0:50 left on the clock, a Moldovan player turnovered. Canada added a three pointer and a free throw to claim the W.
In a game where our big men combined for 10 points, Herman Kearns and Gerry Stavridis kept Canada in the game and we have these two workhorses to thank for the win. They were a dynamic duo and they combined for 44 points.
I was waiting for a big quote from Burns to use for this article but he couldn't think of one through 12 minutes so if you need someone to blame for me not giving out a big quote, blame Burns.
This was a pretty fun game to watch for me and Burns and especially during the crunch time period, it was exciting, fun to watch and great to see them pass the ball to a guy who wasn't clutch and it was awesome to see him turnover.

Getting better. I didn't realize "turnovered" could be used as a verb however. ;)

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.
