Would someone mind skipping ahead to the 48-minute mark http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/78441060/reportmatch.as... and telling me if my player Fabbricatore got injured and was highlighted red in my match? I'm curious as to why his minutes and stats were all goose eggs.

He was injured 5 seconds into the game. Bad luck mate.

My domination through group stage was unexpected considering my draw was, originally, quite difficult looking. I benefit from injuries among other things, but I digress.

There seems to be an unusual amount of absurdly good teams this season.

I figure I could realistically (i.e, >10% of the time) lose to 10-12 of the remaining teams, or beat (>20% of the time) any single team in a single game simulation. Ultimately I can't fathom beating either of the two 1.6M salary rosters or the #4 seeded Chinese team. Several secondary teams are much more salary efficient than me and could very well be favoured over me as well. By my methodology (strictly ratings), I'd consider myself an outside contender.

Other teams generally don't stray from inside tactics, and probably for good reason. I kinda hope that I be more free-flowing and liberal with tactics and GDP than others. Will probably cost me early.

Well, last season I think there was 2 million+ salary team that dropped out in 1st round so who knows? With GDP and really high level it kind of became a crapshoot (kind of like NCAA tournament)

Well, you smashed him on the GS update.

He had a double overtime game in his last cup match. Sucks for him. That has to be annoying as hell.

Now I'm even more reluctant to stray from LI. I was pussing out anyway, and obviously patient is the worst tactic and a bad representation, but still. That match was 700k salary and poor GS versus 1.6m and excellent GS. Ah.

Edit: so far I've caught a ton of breaks. I can easily lose any remaining game, but I'd say I'm comfortably the 2nd best remaining team considering Pacers, Stargard, Celtics, Goldena, etc are out and the Chinese team, Laim, and SUPERLIGOTA have had massive injuries.

Borderline win. I got some nifty REB and FTA luck. Surprised I limited his PG/SG/SF to such low pp/100. Our cumulative ratings were about equal with mine possibly edging his, but his players, who are now for sale, appear superior. http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/147335/players.aspx

For some reason, blank line-up isn't agreeable with my team. Anyone else? It starts my 79k salary and only 95 TSP/10 (seriously) player Fabbricatore over proficient GS players with 20-30 more TSP/10 and plays him just as much as the superior options. Fabbricatore even played SG early in the match for over 5 minutes. I have enough depth that this probably shouldn't happen.
