Definitely the 18 year old.

The 19 yr old has already missed his best/fastest year of training and he can't get that back. Get 10-13 pops out of your 18 year old over the next season and then theres absolutely no comparison, by age 19 he'll be light years better then the other guy at age 19.

Subsequently, it's going to be very difficult for the 19 yr old to ever reach his full potential having missed his age 18 yr of training. So having slightly beter potential becomes a non-factor.

yes with 19 he would be better, but hey he already have a lot of training ;) And the 19 yo would be just sligthly better then the 20yo with the same amount of training and same starting skills. I think it is close betwen them, since potential is valued on the transfermarket and you definately can reach the limit of a four ball potential player even with 19. And why i mention the transfer value, since i am not a big fan of drafting for need with the vague information you have, most likelyy he won't fit and you sell him to buy a player who fit in your scheme(and if you draft for need, the answer is easy did he train big or small guys?).

for value?

sorry a $4k allstar 18 yo & a $3.5k superstar 19 yo are both worth practically nothing unless they have miraculous secondaries

but u r right there is no issue training a 19yo to superstar potential

They are both A+ players though so they should both be 5k-5.5k player salaries or higher correct?

3 balls potencial player caps very fast and is only usable at 5 or 4 division, while 4 balls potencial 19 years old defitenely wont make u-21 team, but can be very good trainee for your own team. If he has a good height id go for 19year old one.

Maunu Häkkinen (21412912)
Power Forward
Owner: Polarin Donkki
Weekly salary: $ 11 998
Age: 19
Height: 6'6" / 198 cm
Potential: hall of famer
Game Shape: strong

According to BBstats he was a $8 553 18 year old, that is the best I have ever heard of until now, I decided to do a search of the biggest nations.

Spain and Italy have no-one over $8,000, USA has one ($8,057), Greece has one ($8,100), China has one ($8,032), Turkey has one ($8,276), France has one ($8,004 but on a bot team lol) Poland has two ($8,131 and $8,033) but Lietuva takes the cake, just one but he has a salary of $8,753 - the biggest I have ever seen. A pity he is an allstar who has already been sold three times this season and had very patchy training. The greatest 18 year old ever is currently working away in division IV USA, not quite the same destiny as Lebron.!

So all-star level players are only usable in D4 or D5 are they? That will be shocking news to all the all-star potential players starting for their teams in D2 and D3 as well as those playing in rotations in D1.

Well I will tell you something odd about India.

BBstats says our best five 18 year olds are:

Sushaant Jaggi (22481966) Global1 (194814) 18 7'1" 13300 PF $7 722 6 3 2011-10-02
Vainavin Ganesan (22985475) radiths team (194940) 18 6'0" 0 SG $6 926 7 4 2012-01-26
Ekapad Masilamani (22525655) Victory Creators (50537) 18 6'6" 32100 SF $6 879 8 6
Divakar Harish (21607654) Dhaka Tigers (50486) 18 6'7" 21500 PF $6 818 7 6 2011-06-05
Vaithi Viswanathan (22984650) Indians Crules (50510) 18 6'3" 46900 SF $6 597 8 7

The first and third are now 19 with much LOWER salaries. The second was on a bot team and is long gone. The 4th is now 20 and I wish BBstats would remove guys like this from the database. But the last player is for real!
