Irrawaddy Club issues a press release entitled "Irrawaddy Club Franchise Created!"

For the first time in decade, SBBL welcomed a new franchise Irrawaddy Club. The new team spend no time to dress up their roster, cut down to 12 players. And also quickly expand their arena for another 500 seat, which is a good move for SBBL league.

Captain Peh rose for 31 points as Flyer Sonic topped NEWBak Ku Teh Kings 93-79.

Two most famous franchise was clashing up again, drew the most attention from Singapore audiences.

Peh Jian Long scored 31pts and 11rebs as Sonics exploded for a strong start at 1st quarter. In front of Void Deck arena crowds, Sonics composure didn't decrease as quarters goes by. BKT chance swatted away and have to surrender with double digit loss.

Li An Wen scored 21pts 17rebs and 2blks for Sonic. Evan "Eric Snow" Mead chipped with 11pts 6ast and 5rebs. Little Sapian led BKT with 26pts and 4assists.

GM: It is a great win for us, Kings is a very strong team to play with in the first place. Their roster is special and deep which you cant predict how the game is going to end. Pervious time we meet, we lose due to some factor and we try to improve it. The result is good and we like it.

PJL: A very great win for us. Before the game, Me and LAW gather the team and talk about the last defeat, we try to avoid the mistake we made. It turn out very good. Last defeat is a painful defeat which result us to go to Div 2. Therefore such a revenge is always good to have. However the turnover is something not to be pleased we hope it will improve even better.

LAW: We treat kings as our rival and friends. Before the game we always have some chat. Let me add on this. Ahmad Islam FEEL THE WRATH OF LAW!!!!!!. Sapian bin Bidi WE NEVER UNDERESTIMATE YOU!! It feel great to win.

GM: About the Allstar magazine which was release every season. Sad to say, the article have to delay for some moment. To show our regret , this season we will include special section for the magazine. The reason for delay is due to the writer have work commitment which most of the time is spend on work than life.
