Yup, a PG is what I'm looking at. But there shouldn't be a rush. Depending on who comes down and what action happens in II.1, there's still a fair gap between me - #2 in Great 8, and the next team in my conference. I agree I'll need a PG... but I don't think I'll need one too early (unless one's *there*).

I think you can wait...There are really only 20 teams left in Japan, even Fumoffu hasn't logged in in 3 weeks. I wonder if there will ever be 60 teams in Japan again?

I wonder if there'll truly be 30.

They need to merge us already. I think Korea and Japan would be a good start for a merger or us iwth New Zealand. Or just give us all an option where to go and disband our league, maybel ike a choice between China and Australia or somethign like that. They need to get rid of these smaller nations already..

I remain anti-merge.

I like our own identity... and I do not want to lose it.

Well.... I'm expecting Yasujiro will have a spot on the team. I'm not sure about Tsunami yet, I need to see where he's at and think about how he fits in.

Anyway, at this point your 21s can't play anymore real games for you so might be time to let go. ;)

I prepare for a massive explosion of anger in response to this post but I state my opinion anyway.

For so long Wolph has been saying Keisuke Ikouga is the best guard on the U21 team, Takayoshi Kawagichi will be lucky to be a backup, he didn't have anyone as bad at defence as Takayoshi Kawagichi last season, he can't shoot, his defence is bad, his passing isn't good enough.

Obviously I get told at least once a week that salary isn't everything. But if Keisuke Ikouga is so much better in every way than Takayoshi Kawagichi how come Keisuke Ikouga has a $18k salary while Takayoshi Kawagich has a $29k salary (second best on the team)? That is not even close. Takayoshi Kawagich must have something.

Takayoshi Kawagich was interviewed and this was what he said about the situation:

"Why wouldn't I start? I mean, I'm the franchise player here. I don't know any franchise players that come off the bench. I don't know any Olympian that comes off the bench. I don't know any All -Star that comes off the bench. I don't know any former MVP that comes off the bench. I don't know any three -time scoring champion that comes off the bench. I don't know any first -team all -NBA (player) that comes off the bench. Why Takayoshi Kawagich? Why would I come off the bench? I don't know; maybe that's something for people to think about."
