Monta, Curry, and Nash have an unfair advantage in PPG, APG, and StlPG because their teams play a ridiculous fast pace. So there's that many more possessions. Contrast that to a team like Boston with Rondo or the Heat with James and Wade that play at snails paces.

I'll be happy when people realize that Kobe Bryant isn't a Top 10 player in the league anymore. Even Kobe is starting to come to terms with it. (see Kobe interview after Spurs game the other night) I hope the fans follow suit soon.

Hmm, I know he's not as good as he used to be, but I'd still say top 10.
1.Lebron James
2.Dwight Howard
3.Carmelo Anthony
4.Deron Williams
5.Amare
6.Dwayn Wade
7.Kevin Durant
8.Dirk
9. Kobe Bryant
10. Derrick Rose

I think 9-10 is reasonable. I'd put him closer to 12-13.

I think you made a mistake with Melo at 3. He's a pure scorer with horrid shot selection. He shots 42% from the field and 28% from 3. And this has been his most efficient season because his rebs are up 2 a game.

Also where is CP3? He's the best PG in the league yet you have him under DWill and DRose? Also, no Pau? or Manu? Also Amare has no business in Top 5 players. He isn't even the best PF in the league, much less Top 5 player. Pau and Bosh are both much better than Amare, mostly because he has no idea how to play on ball defense.

I've been reluctant, but I'll put out my Top 10 List.

1. LeBron James
2. Chris Paul
3. Dwyane Wade
4. Dirk Nowitzki
5. Dwight Howard
6. Manu Ginobili
7. Kevin Durant
8. Deron Williams
9. Kevin Garnett
10. Pau Gasol

Many of these are interchangeable by 1-2 positions.

I wouldn't say Kobe's lost his touch yet...I'd still put him top 5 without a doubt. And I don't think we should talk about his effectiveness until playoffs, when he actually turns it on, which is what he's better than anybody at the league at doing.

The fact is, the lakers haven't been playing well in general. It's not like Kobe got worse, and so did his team's performance...I think it's more the opposite. He's still making incredible plays, but sometimes his team just can't finish. When the Lakers get their act together, I think we'll start to see the real Kobe start playing, like in the past few games that they've been playing.

Interesting Q. Wish I could divide it up into the 1st 10 players I'd take if starting from scratch and top 10 overall. But it is a Top 10 overall as of now, so my list would be:

1) LBJ
2) Durant
3) CP3
4) Kobe
5) D-Will
6) Wade
7) Howard
8) Dirk
9) Rose
10) Carmelo

On the fringe are guys like Rondo, Griffin (even the Clips can't mess him up, right?), Pierce, and Manu.

1. LeBron James (very mature for his age and has great leadership, just what a team needs to win.)
2. Kobe Bryant (don't really like the guy, but he has skill.)
3. Dwayne Wade (a great player who now has a partner in crime [LeBron James])
4. Kevin Durant (a shining star in the NBA, young)
5. Carmello Anthony (a big ballhog, but scores big)
6. Dwight Howard (a rebounding monster and star bigman for the Magic)
7. Rajon Rondo (a great passer and defender who runs the Celtics offense)
8. Derrick Rose (he is leading the Bulls to a great run at the finals)
9. Carlos Boozer (a great compliment to Derrick Rose)
10. KG (a NBA legend, sure he has lost some of his skill, but he is still one of the best in the league)

Interesting lists here is mine:

1--Lebron--Most physically gifted player the nba has seen and has done a a lot of work on basketball skills

2--D-Wade--Some nights overshadows lebron. Possibly the best 2 way guard in the nba.

3--Superman aka d howard--most dominant big man in the league.

4--Kobe--So many minutes on his legs it appears its catching up to him

5--Blake Griffin--Surprise but name me one power forward, or even front court player in the league that is playing better.

6--D-will--Best point guard in the league, stats are scewed by structured offense

7--Cp3--A very close 1-A to deron difference maker at both ends of the floor. Needs to be more aggressive scorer IMO

8--Derrick Rose--Point guard league this kid is challenging for and has the potential to pass up the 2 in front of him

9--Russel Westbrook--Durant gets all the pub in OKC but if you watch their games westbrook fuels the fire

10--Dirk--Another guy that stats dont do justice to how great this cat is. One of the few franchise players in the league
