A few seasons ago, in a five-game stretch, I got hit with four cup CTs by lower division teams. I was away for three of them. The last one finally did me in.

That occasional sneak attack crunch time doesn't hurt nearly as much in the next few games in the lower levels. Up here, a cup CT is basically asking to get beaten in your next 2-3 games.


I'm agree.

But I shrugged off the Cup last season to win league games, and won too damn many league games, and now look at me. I have no business being "up here."

You all may be lucky enough to play against my normal Cup lineup in league play at some point this season, just so I can get some of the reward for moving into later rounds. (I'm still debating whether or not this idea sucks eggs.)

I think the only one of us that has a remotely interesting cup matchup tonight is Wake Forest playing DII team Crazy Canadians. Who coincidently are going bot tommorow I believe. Easy to play for at least, he hasnt had a different tactic in a month.

I'm playing a not-so-good div IV team, but I am TIE-ing away, playing mostly with scrubs *and* I'm only up 2 at halftime!

EDIT: looks like I jinxed myself. I'm 8-24 since posting this O_O
