Sorry, but this issue of short rosters, what competitions is it about? Because judging from what I have read in the last open threads about this topic it seems to me it concerns B3 and major series of some countries ..

Is this a problem that also affects other competitions? (National cups, minor leagues let's say III or IV series)

Because if that were the case, for the umpteenth time, the problems of the few elite teams affect thousands of common teams.

I don't understand why, in order to prevent the elite from paying due weight for what they do, everyone has to pay the same price.

If the problem is that in B3, and perhaps in some of the major leagues, the short roster creates advantages, then why punish the whole world of thousands of teams who have never had to deal with this problem?

Can't you think of something that really interests those teams instead of everyone?

By the way, in most cases, for an ARCADE competition!
This seems to me an absurd way of solving problems.

If tested in friendly matches, there will be damage.
It should be tested in an arcade competition.

Therefore, since the B3 and the national teams must be protected, it will only be in private leagues and the impact can be very small compared to the real one.

Seriously, nobody can see that the short rosters problem was caused by the psychologist?

It is so damned obvious...

I don't agree that game shape introduced too much luck or randomness into the game. A small degree of randomness is always part of the game.

But even if that were the case, the sensible thing to do would be to change the formula for the game shape to make it less random. Period. You don't need to screw the rosters size to do that.

Yeah, well, you also have the more stamina - more minutes relation.
So both things caused the 6-men rosters: (1) stamina-minutes and (2) psychologist.

I'll do one last effort to make people understand and then I will forget about this.
Because, well, this is so obvious to me that I tend to think that everybody would know. But obviously not. So I will make it explicit.

Let's say the week is formed by two league competitive games and one irrelevant scrimmage.
So we have 48*5*2=480 minutes to share.
When you could give only 70 minutes to each player for good game shapes, we needed 480/70=6.85, that means 7-men rotation. And in practice you needed 8 men to get perfect numbers. As originally intended.
With the psychologist, you can give up to 90 minutes a player so we have 480/90=5.33.

So the psychologist allows rotations of one and a half less players.
If the problem is short rosters, this seems key, don't you think?
