All those tank and bankers will love the 30k reduction in the floor though I bet. Most of the league so maybe its better now we intentionally neuter the TV money each season...JBBL is a JOKE

Well... I disagree on "intentionally neutering". And I'm not tanking - I'm training. To do it properly, it's pretty much impossible to compete (for me, at this point).
To be quite frank I should have done this a few seasons ago. If it means I demote, then I demote (tho' I'd prefer not to). The salary floor doesn't really impact me, as I couldn't get there any way... I'll hover above it.

As far as TV money goes, I added masses of salary for two seasons, last season it cost me a virtual truck-load of money. I spent far more on getting my salary up than I could ever recoup... and there have been quite a few teams who have ridden the work of others. Maybe it's time for them to step up.

You should be happy. The price of JR dropped like crazy. I also think they messed with some other stuff.

My Chinese SG with 14 JR dropped 16K is salary. I also think JS for bigs got cheaper. Asano has 13 JS and his salary should have been 105K this season and his salary is only 89K.

We could see MOTION and PTB come back into play this season....

Buzzer-Manager predicted K-Mat's salary to take a hike up to around 150k (from 132), instead... it's now only 135k. Tim was meant to hit 99k, but only jumped 3,000 to 88k.

Let's call it an educated guess.....
My SG popped in IS and SB this last season. His salary should have gone up not down. I THINK they lowered the price of JR and SB....and made IS more expensive for SFs and G's.
Do the research for yourself....
Here is my SG, stick his skills in any salary calculator...
Weekly salary: $ 81 523
DMI: 702700
Age: 28
Height: 6'1" / 185 cm
Potential: hall of famer
Game Shape: respectable

Jump Shot: prodigious Jump Range: wondrous
Outside Def.: prodigious Handling: tremendous
Driving: sensational Passing: sensational
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: proficient
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: inept
All of them say he should be making 99K this season...but he is making 81K.

Player Salaries: $ 899 561

I think I contributed this season.

Eita jumped $25k & Kishita jumped $40k in salaries.

Most of my salary drops were very small but Ochi who does have a lot of JR did get a bigger drop than most others. Most of my guards dropped about $1k but he dropped $13k.

I have no clue to why you would start season 25 with a crazy thread. Yes, I saw the poll, but I didn't feel it was rude. At least not to the point of REVENGE posting.

Dude YC I won the JBBL last season...
Tsunami's build is maturing beautifully, he got some late pops last season I was only slightly hoping for (was unsure if he is capped...and he is getting older now)
I got B3 games coming...but for some weird reason...

and my feeling earlier today (before I read this thread by emecca...which I only found after posts you made in Nippon)...was that I should quit BB because its just getting boring...

I even have great optimism for changes that Marin has been doing...I think he has done a great job and really made some smart moves/ changes etc.... (not perfect but overall pretty good)...

But yea, even with all that...I am only sightly interested in continuing to play this game.

I guess its this dead JBBL or the funky market..something. who knows what. This game is just boring now for some reason. Maybe its just today.

So....I have no clue why this post was meant for me...Yeah...I'm bored too. I went down to get some different scenery. If I wouldn't have gone down, I would have probably quit. So was this post to someone else or did you sick my name at the top of some rant post?

YC was spot on as to the cost of JR.
Also, after evaluating the effect of the shot-blocking changes, we believe some well-built teams are now able to defend better against inside tactics than before. However, we still feel that the overall tactical balance hasn’t yet been achieved. Therefore, we have decreased the contributions Jump Range and Shot Blocking have to a player’s salary. We expect that this change, combined with the new tactical “prediction” options described earlier, should bring us a long way closer to the desired tactical balance.
