i would expect you to like swedish dudes Koops :D

Ah i love the good old days when everyone used wooden rackets and there was an element of skill to the all-round game, not just grip it and rip it and whoever hits it the hardest wins..

I still remember Ivan Lendl using the aluminium racket when everyone else still used wood! Great stuff :D

Safin was a great player. Federer became my favourite player after Edberg and Graf (female).

As for Murray, even Ivan's in his corner for what it's worth...

...very little I would suspect.

"Federer as the MJ of tennis?" Absolutely!

The guy was a f#%king robot. Energizer friggin bunny! lol Great to watch. You just new he'd run down balls other players wouldn't bother with. Won so many unexpected points that way.

Yeah I think him or Borris Becker were the youngest to win a grand slam.
Another American in that era that I liked was Jim Courier.

Never really had a thing for womens tennis.. well maybe Mary Pearce... Hingis was okay til she got dominated by the Williams sisters.

Anna Kournakova, Anna Ivanovic and Maria Sharapova are all bling bling and g-l-a-m-orous.

I used to be a fan of Mary Pierce, until she bowled my wife over at Myer in Bourke St 1 day when the tennis was on, just power walked her way through the place like she owned it and didnt give a shit

Seles was a favorite of mine to watch back in the day.. she was incredible, just had to have the volume right down :D she really could have been the best i think, if not for some crazy ass german fan..

i can just see bainsy googling these names to find out who we talkin about.. he wouldnt have even been a lil fishy when these guys were running around :P
