I haven't seen this to be true. Higher Enthusiasm means the all round efforts are improved, not just D. At least that's my team. :)
Well I haven't really noticed myself either (mainly because my lineup is always different due to training purpose and my tactics are always different too, so it's pretty hard to find out if D gets better or both gets better etc). But since experts say so, it must be true.
