I just found out that your starters get subbed when you're up by 20+ points even though you chose "Strictly follow depth chart." I'm in division V with a lot of inactive teams so I expect a few more blowouts in the future. Is there anything I can do to make sure my trainee still get full 48 minutes in blowout situations?

Edit: My trainee had no back-ups nor reserves but still got only 36 minutes.

Put your player in all three splots, Starter,back-up and reserve. This will make sure they stay in..

But then if one of my players get injured or fouls out then I'm trouble, am I not? So maybe the best thing to do is to make sure that I don't have too big a lead. Right?

Any team you see, any name on the forum can accept your challenge in a scrimmage. If your starter gets 36 minutes in a league game, he can be reserves in a scrimmage and should get the other 12 minutes. If you're in the cup, it serves the same purpose. In BB we can do what no real team would do, dress only 5 players for an entire game.
