Well the other guy told you exactly what you should do, but didn't tell you why so I'll try to help you out to the best of my abilities.
A team that plays Run and Gun are going to take a lot of 3 point shots and they're going to be a very high tempo offense. So your best bet is to see how well of a shooting and rebounding team your opponent is and base your tactics on that.
Playing the 3-2 Defense will give you a boost to perimeter defense which should do its damage against a Run and Gun team. This tactic is best played when you're up against a team that shoots a lot (obviously) but also has a good rebounding stat so you can cut down on second chance buckets.
You could consider playing the 1-3-1 Defense if your opponent doesn't have a good rebounding team. The 1-3-1 is the premiere defense against outside shooting at the cost of a lengthy fall in rebounding. The 1-3-1 also is exploited the most from the inside so rebounding and inside defense suffer pretty bad here. Personally I suggest the 3-2.
Offensively you're going up against a team you're almost certain will play the 3-2 defense. The 3-2 defense is good against outside shots but can be exploited inside so as recommended above play either look inside or low post.
Look inside will give your big men extra opportunities to take shots for your offense and it's played at a higher tempo then at low post which is an offense designed to slow down the game. When playing a high tempo offense you might be tempted to play low post, but I'm personally suggest you play look inside. Your defensive choice might be the one your opponent is expecting and has switched his offense accordingly, or maybe the guy gets lucky with a higher tempo'ed offense. He'll definitely score his points so you're going to want have your shots at the basket as well. Slowing the pace of the game down to the point of the low post offense could be at your disadvantage.
Of course if you've got other questions feel free to shoot them out.
