Hi all,

There is a player Carl Hearn (50437907), who I drafted in season 55 when I was new to the game. He’s current team just retired and he was put onto the transfer list. I would like to bid for him out of pure nostalgia, but his price was set much higher than his worth. He’s now 33, and worth nowhere near the listed 150k. I wondered how the price of players from retired teams are calculated and if they need readjusting

Hi all,

They usually are listed for more money than they‘43 currently worth on the TL. It‘s easily calculated: they‘re put on the TL for 10 times their salary. But that‘s capped at 500k, so someone with salary 300k will be put on the TL for 500k (usually resulting into his retirement)…

And yes, I‘d also like a readjustment. But it seems that‘s not a priority or even the wish of the BBs/ developers…

Thank you for the quick answer. Pricing all such players at 10x the salary seems like the laziest way to do it. I think the age of the player and current market trends should also be considered.

Yes, that would be a better way. But it‘s probably harder to implement…
