Suggestion for Cross-League Saturday Scrimmages During the Playoffs

(I know this suggestion might not be a high priority, or even important.)

During the playoffs, Saturday scrimmages are still against teams from the same league but different conferences.
After a while, I'm getting a bit tired of it, and feel a bit odd— why are we playing practice games against our own competitors?

I suggest changing it to a cross-league format, which would give teams more chances to play against teams from other leagues in the same country and division.
For Division I teams, maybe it could even be cross-country.

That might make things feel a bit fresher.
