Every 2 years everyone has the chance to be elected NT Manager!

Firstly congrats to Boomshakalaka who with the limited roster (compared to other nations) has kept Japan at a respectable ranking throughout his tenure.

So, who wants to go next? I've posted this here as all active managers are in Div 1 but you will have to apply by clicking on the thread link above and follow the rules outlined.

Personally my GM duties take up a fair bit of time and again I am willing to aide the NT manager whenever they would like help or a second opinion. I would much prefer to have one of us manage the team than an outsider and if there is no interest I would reconsider to have a more active role.

Over to you!

I think likewise, the NT Manager should go to someone from Japan. I would submit myself as candidate, but I need to work more on my team. At least for the next two seasons, that is.

The job shouldnt take too much time as the team normally picks itself based on GS for the week... as we are also very few users we know 99% of the pool of players that could/should be in the squad... I dont think there is anybody that is upset that one of their players isnt involved and as long as it stays this way and we communicate effectively we should be ok..

If you look at how seriously some nations are working behind the scenes it is scary.... i think we have to accept it will be harder and harder for us to compete as seasons go by... we just have to set ourselves more realistic targets like conquering Asia and sticking to these...(unless we get a production line of new Kaneko's and Tanazakis!!!)

So, should I run in the election? :P

Each nation is different, maybe they work 100% seriously because they've got bigger communities. But we are not so distant from that. As long as each fellow nihon manager keeps recomending players that should be in the national roster, and, as long as this roster grows and grows, the weak spots should be covered.

And yes, Asia is a great first, long term, goal.

For sure....

As I said - I can assist (if needbe) if not we will all support you 110%. I think the toughest decisions are when to TIE/CT as there is a week between games and when there is a mismatch its not always wise to TIE just because you think you are going to lose..... This can be discussed by BB mail.... apart from this i think the starting 10 are pretty obvious and yes we just need to keep you (or whoever gets the position) of training updates that happen on fringe players...

Dont be afraid to tell managers that if players arent trained you will drop them - end of story. A lot of managers would love to have a NT player and will do anything to keep them. Thats why it is worth keeping fringe players regularly checked on.

Well, for whoever that ends up with the position, of course that all help and support will be appreciated.

I will see into this and make my choice in the following days. Don't want to enter into something that requires a lot of attention if I'm not completely sure I will be up to it.

Right well all the candidates are now decided...

Can we all get behind Kudou and vote for him so he gets his chance to manage the NT. Boom & myself have already voted so thats 2. Lets all show him the support needed!

So is anyone wanting to take on the position?

We had a narrow loss to Holland this week and you can see the shape of whats to come with the players that got minutes. Next week will be the same as we host Thailand and I will try to include some more U21 guys depending on if Yellow-cake has anymore to release in my direction.

1st of all. I am not going to put him on the team so you can try and sell him for more money. 2nd. His OD is only strong, this is the NT we are talking about, other teams PG's will kill him. 3rd. Why wasn't this sent to me( U-21 NT coach) via BB mail. It seems like you are trying to advertise this guy on our forum page which is a no-no.( GM's are already being contacted) This is what? The 4th time we have done this little dance. I am not going to help you stuff your pockets. If you get his OD to Proficent and he comes off the block. Maybe I give him another look. I do find it funny that when he was on the team you were not training him and he was for sell the whole 2 weeks and now that he is not on the team you are training him. Nice try!!
BTW...Nice Game Shape...medicore!! No Thanks
Next time send me a BB Mail, that is what the U-21 NT page says to do....
