It happens to me with firefox too, but quite randomly.
For example, in a sheet I was not seeing anything but the x and o coloured. But in another sheet from another match I properly see the HCD.

Hi,

They (Firefox, again) got stricter about Flash loading outside files from other domains. Maybe we can try to setup a proxy to enable this, I'll see if there's time to do this later on.

The proxy works! Only for a couple of image serving sites though (for security reasons, just imgur and postimg but I can add others per request).

So the idea is to add a prefix: "http://www.buzzerbeater.com/iproxy.ashx?" to the image URL (make sure to remove the second "http://" part), for example:
http://s24.postimg.org/wk44uudit/allstarbluecourt.png
becomes
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/iproxy.ashx?s24.postimg.org/wk44uudit/allstarbluecourt.png.
