Alright, so I have a 20 year old player who is 5'11" and plays PG but has a terrible JR. I'm debating on whether or not I should train it or if I should leave it alone until later in his career. Would training JR be worth it and drastically make him better player?

Jump Shot: proficient Jump Range: awful
Outside Def.: strong Handling: prominent
Driving: sensational Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: inept ↑ Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: proficient Free Throw: respectable

Experience: pitiful

JR is too low, you will waste your time training him. JR is something that in IVth division you shoudn't consider or at least if you wanna play outside try to buy players with already a decent level of JR; in any case you will not see a lot of improvements in 3 points shots even with lvl 13.

The older he gets, the harder it will be to train. Also, JR training slows down OD training. Adding some JR may improve how many jumpers he converts (a little), but it wouldn't drastically make him better.

If you have your heart set on him being an SG, you may want to make sure he has 8+ JR when you finish training him (and I might be a little generous by saying 8). If you don't mind him being a PG, then his JR level won't matter too much.

Depends on his potential. If he's Perennial Allstar or worse, definately train JR until 9. If he's Superstar or better, you could eave it and try to cap him.

As to when to train it, you can wait with it if you want him to get better quickly. Train OD first so he won't be a liability on defense while the rest of your team carries the offensive load. Then when OD is 12 train Passing until around 10-12 (depending on potential) so he'll know when to pass if he can't get a good shot. Then you can train JR until 9 and you'll have a nice player!

also just to add to your comments which i totally agree with....

don't train any JS.... just train JR instead - JR trains JS as well, so don't bother with any direct JS training
