Hi, I'm in my second season and getting familiar with the game tactics but still am not 100% comfortable with them. I'm 18-4 in league V.3 and have a semifinals match against a 22-0 team.

Based on past strategies, I expect them to play a fast pace (always either run n gun or push the ball). I want to play a 3-2 zone b/c they are strong on perimeter players, but don't want to gameplan focus outside incase they go push the ball.

So my question is, will my 3-2 zone and its slow pace be more effective or less effective against a face paced offense? Which prevails? Also, is there any effect if my offensive pace matches or contradicts my defensive pace?

From the looks of you and your opponents rosters, it looks like you have a very very good chance of winning if you guess fast paced. As long as your opponent doesn't guess GDP correctly you should win because his best player which is his 14k pg is only in respectable gameshape. Good luck.
