Dear GM's may I suggest the creation of the Triangle Offense :) because here in the Philippines my favorite basketball team is using the Triangle. And I am missing this offense in the NBA because it does not exists there anymore. Sorry for my english xD

Based on my observations and some researches. It has many options and the players will pass the ball until it come to the open guy. I think it focuses more on mid range jumpers and low post. Less 3pt shots and some said it's a zone defense breaker. I'm not sure though

I like the idea. The Triangle is perhaps the only offensive set any casual NBA fan can identify by name, despite the fact that no one outside of Phil Jackson’s coaching sphere ever uses it. lol

It would be interesting personnel wise in BuzzerBeater. Interchangeability between players, even allowing guards to get post inside shots when matchup is good. Point guards that don't need to be top notch handlers and passers (i.e. Kerr, Paxson, Fisher), because everyone's passing would be needed including bigs (i.e. Pau and Odom). Driving wouldn't be as necessary as triangle stresses relentless off-the-ball movement allowing standing jump shooters to contribute (i.e. Paxson, Fisher, Kerr, Vujacic and Walton). Drives are only supposed to be taken when all four passing options are gone. A lot of jump shooting, especially PG-PF, ideally PG-C.

I think its hard in BB to have very specific offensive sets as the 'main offense'
I have previously suggested that there be some offensive 'sub-sets', such that you can pick specific offensive plays as an alternative and run them 30% of the time or something like that.

yer thats right. The Low Post offence may actually encompass plays such as
- Triangle
- Low post posting up
- Post up and kick out
- high-post cut-n-dish

etc

So having even more specific offence to say, only run triangle, is a bit tooo specific.

what would be nice, would be if each 'Parent' offence, had a subset such as the above list. And then you could try and maybe specifiy the proportions you would the team to play during the game.

- Triangle - 50%
- Low post post up - 10%
- Low post-postup and kick out - 20%
high post cut n dish - 20%

not sure what would be under Motion/Base/outside/inside/LI though.

Princeton:

- Guard who can't make a layup to save his life driving to the hoop and trying to lay it up over the opposing big man, who eats guys like him for lunch - 40%
- Forward/Center taking an offensive rebound back up against said opposing big man, on the off chance that he'll block it into the basket - 15%
- Chat up the hot redhead in section 2, notice the shot clock is expiring and chuck up an ill-fated three on the hopes that you'll get the offensive rebound (see above) - 35%
- TWERK BREAK! - 10%

Are you talking about the Lakers offensive sets this season?
