According to the description I should still be able to edit the order during the day, but it is already gone. What am I missing?

It's already closed since economy updates started in some countries. You should not be able to spend points from this update, that's why it's already closed.

In this case I suggest to update the description. For me currently it writes that I can make updates until the 31st... obviously that's incorrect and misleading.
